必不得見我所誓於厥祖之地、凡輕視我者、皆不得見之、

必不得見我所誓賜其列祖之地、凡棄我者、皆不得見之、

not one of them will ever see the land I promised on oath to their ancestors. No one who has treated me with contempt will ever see it.

So not even one of them will ever see the land I promised to give to their people of long ago. The person who has not respected me will never see it.

出埃及之眾、自二十歲以上者、既不專從乎我、皆不獲見我所誓於亞伯拉罕以撒雅各之地、

昔在西乃野、摩西與祭司亞倫所核以色列人中、今無一人在其數者、

我復在野發誓、必不導之入我所賜流乳與蜜之地、即諸地之美者、

昔我誓以沃壤賜爾祖、此惡世之人、必無一得見者、惟耶孚尼子迦勒專從耶和華、必得見之、其所履之地、我將賜之、及其子孫、耶和華緣爾故、亦怒我曰、爾亦不得入此地、惟侍爾者、嫩之子約書亞得入、當堅厥志、彼必使以色列人據有斯土、爾之幼穉、所言必被虜者、爾之子女、不能別善惡者、必得入之、我將賜彼、使之據有其地、惟爾當由紅海之道、而入曠野、爾曹對曰、我獲罪於耶和華、願遵我上帝耶和華命、前往以戰、於是各佩軍器、急欲入山、耶和華命我告民曰、毋往、毋戰、恐敗於敵、蓋我不在爾中、我以告爾、爾不聽從、違耶和華命、擅自登山、居山之亞摩利人、出而攻爾、追爾、勢若蜂擁、自西珥擊爾、至何珥瑪、爾曹乃返、哭於耶和華前、耶和華不為側耳、不聽爾聲、

又四十年彼所不悅者誰耶、非干罰而屍仆於野者乎、又誓之不得入其安息者誰耶、非不順從者乎、

故我怒而誓曰、彼必不得入我安息兮、

彼遂舉手而誓曰、必仆之於野、

夫我儕之信者、得入安息、如上帝所言、我怒而誓曰、彼必不入我安息、然其工自創世時已畢矣、

爾使其裔繁衍、如天星之多、導至所諭其祖必入而據之地、
