And they will tell the inhabitants of this land about it. They have already heard that you, Lord, are with these people and that you, Lord, have been seen face to face, that your cloud stays over them, and that you go before them in a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night.

And the Egyptians will tell the people who live in Canaan about it. Lord, they have already heard a lot about you. They’ve heard that you are with these people. They’ve heard that you have been seen face to face. They’ve been told that your cloud stays over them. They’ve heard that you go in front of them in a pillar of cloud by day. They’ve been told that you go in front of them in a pillar of fire at night.

and they will tell the inhabitants of this land. They have heard that you, O Lord, are in the midst of this people. For you, O Lord, are seen face to face, and your cloud stands over them and you go before them, in a pillar of cloud by day and in a pillar of fire by night.

Now if you destroy them, the Egyptians will send a report to the inhabitants of this land, who have already heard that you live among your people. They know, Lord, that you have appeared to your people face to face and that your pillar of cloud hovers over them. They know that you go before them in the pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night.

They will tell it to the inhabitants of this land. They have heard that you, LORD, are among these people, how you, LORD, are seen face to face, how your cloud stands over them, and how you go before them in a pillar of cloud by day and in a pillar of fire by night.

萬族之民聽見就戰抖，慘痛抓住了非利士的居民。

永恆主對摩西面對面地說話，好像人對朋友說話一樣。摩西回到營裏，惟有他的助手、一個青年人、嫩的兒子約書亞、不離開會棚。

永恆主在山上、從火中、面對面地同你們說話。

在約但河西邊的亞摩利人那些王、和靠海的迦南人那些王、聽見永恆主使約但河的水從以色列人面前乾了、等着我們過河，他們就因以色列人的緣故而膽戰心驚，不再有勇氣了。

你還是大施憐憫，不把他們撇棄在曠野：日間雲柱還不離開他們，仍在路上領導他們；夜間火柱也不離開他們，仍然照亮他們所該走的路。

他白日用雲彩、整夜用火光、引導他們。

日間、永恆主在他們的前面走，在雲柱中領導他們的路；夜間、在火柱中光照亮他們，使他們日夜都可以走路。日間雲柱、夜間火柱、總不離開人民的前面。

雅各便給那地方起名叫毘努伊勒，因為他說：『我面對面地見了上帝，我的性命還得保全。』

從來沒有人見過上帝；惟有在父懷裏的獨生子將他表彰出來。

日間你又用雲柱領導他們，夜間又用火柱照亮他們所該走的路。

我要和他親口相對地說話，是顯異象，不是用謎語；他要望着我永恆主的形像。你們為甚麼說我僕人摩西的壞話也無所戒懼呢？』

每逢他們從營盤往前行的時候，日間總有永恆主的雲彩在他們上頭。

因為在他們所行的路站上、日間總有永恆主的雲彩在帳幕上，夜間總有火在其中，在以色列全家眼前。

對他們說：『我知道永恆主已經把這地賜給你們，並且有一種懼怕你們的恐怖情緒落到我們心裏，而且這地所有的居民因你們的緣故都膽戰心驚。因為我們聽見你們出埃及的時候、永恆主怎樣使蘆葦海的水從你們面前乾了，你們又怎樣處置約但河東邊亞摩利人的兩個王、西宏和噩，就是你們所盡行毁滅歸神的。

以後在以色列中再沒有興起神言人像摩西的；他乃是永恆主面對面的知交。

在立起帳幕那一天、有雲彩遮蓋着帳幕、就是法櫃的帳棚；晚上有像火之形狀的在帳幕上頭、直到早晨。老是這樣：白天有雲彩遮蓋着帳幕，夜間有火的形狀。雲彩幾時從帳幕上被收上去，以色列人幾時就往前行；雲彩在甚麼地方停住，以色列人就在甚麼地方紮營。以色列人照永恆主所吩咐的往前行，也照永恆主所吩咐的紮營；儘雲彩在帳幕上頭停住的日子，他們就都住營。就是雲彩在帳幕上頭停留了許多日子，以色列人也守永恆主所吩咐守的、都不往前行。有時候雲彩在帳幕上頭有幾天，他們也是照永恆主所吩咐的來住營，照永恆主所吩咐的往前行。有時候從晚上到早晨有雲彩；早晨雲彩一被收上去，他們就往前行；或者是白晝是黑夜都有雲彩，雲彩一被收上去，他們也就往前行。

他鋪開了雲彩為遮蓋，又使火照亮了黑夜。

耶穌對他說：『腓力，我同你們在一起、有這麼長的時間，你還不認識我麼？看見了我的、就已經看見了父，你怎麼說「將父指給我們看」呢？

我們現在對着鏡子觀看、在猜謎中；到那時就面對面了。我現在一點一點地認識；到那時就完全認識，如同完全被認識一樣。
