And they will tell the inhabitants of this land about it. They have already heard that you, Lord, are with these people and that you, Lord, have been seen face to face, that your cloud stays over them, and that you go before them in a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night.

And the Egyptians will tell the people who live in Canaan about it. Lord, they have already heard a lot about you. They’ve heard that you are with these people. They’ve heard that you have been seen face to face. They’ve been told that your cloud stays over them. They’ve heard that you go in front of them in a pillar of cloud by day. They’ve been told that you go in front of them in a pillar of fire at night.

and they will tell the inhabitants of this land. They have heard that you, O Lord, are in the midst of this people. For you, O Lord, are seen face to face, and your cloud stands over them and you go before them, in a pillar of cloud by day and in a pillar of fire by night.

Now if you destroy them, the Egyptians will send a report to the inhabitants of this land, who have already heard that you live among your people. They know, Lord, that you have appeared to your people face to face and that your pillar of cloud hovers over them. They know that you go before them in the pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night.

They will tell it to the inhabitants of this land. They have heard that you, LORD, are among these people, how you, LORD, are seen face to face, how your cloud stands over them, and how you go before them in a pillar of cloud by day and in a pillar of fire by night.

万民听见，就必战抖；疼痛恐惧抓住了非利士的居民。

耶和华与摩西面对面说话，好像人对朋友说话一样。然后，摩西回到营里去，只有他的侍从，一个少年人，就是嫩的儿子约书亚，不离开会幕。

耶和华在山上，从火中，面对面的与你们说话。

在约旦河西，亚摩利人的众王和靠近海边迦南人的众王，听见耶和华怎样使约旦河的水在以色列人面前干了，直到他们都过河去，他们都心里惊怕，因以色列人的缘故，勇气全失。

你还是因着你丰盛的怜悯，没有把他们撇弃在旷野；日间云柱没有离开他们，仍然在路上引导他们；夜间火柱也没有离开他们，还是光照他们要行的路。

白日他用云彩，夜间他用火光引导他们。

耶和华在他们前面行，日间用云柱领他们的路，夜间用火柱光照他们，使他们日夜都可以行走。日间云柱，夜间火柱，都不离开众民的面前。

于是，雅各给那地方起名叫毗努伊勒，意思说：“我面对面看见了神，我的性命仍得保全。”

从来没有人见过神，只有在父怀里的独生子把他彰显出来。

日间你用云柱引导他们，夜间用火柱光照他们要行的路。

我要与他面对面说话，是亲自说的，不是用谜语；他必看见耶和华的形象，你们出言反对我的仆人摩西，为什么不惧怕呢？”

他们拔营起行的时候，日间总有耶和华的云彩在他们上头。

因为以色列人所有的旅程中，日间有耶和华的云彩在帐幕上，夜间云中有火，显在以色列全家的眼前。

对他们二人说：“我知道耶和华已经把这地赐给你们了，你们使我们十分害怕，这地所有的居民都在你们面前胆战心惊。因为我们听见你们从埃及出来的时候，耶和华怎样使红海的水在你们面前干了，以及你们怎样对待约旦河东亚摩利人的两个王西宏和噩，把他们完全消灭。

以后在以色列中，再没有兴起一位先知像摩西一样的；他是耶和华面对面所认识的。

在竖立帐幕的那一天，有云彩遮盖着帐幕，就是法柜的帐幕；到了晚上，云彩在帐幕上，形状像火，直到早晨。常常是这样：白天（《马索拉文本》无“白天”，现参照各古译本补上）有云彩遮盖帐幕，夜间云彩形状像火。云彩什么时候从会幕上收去，以色列人就起行；云彩在什么地方停住，以色列人就在那里安营。以色列人照着耶和华的吩咐起行，也照着耶和华的吩咐安营；云彩在帐幕上停留多久，他们就安营多久。如果云彩多日停留在帐幕上，以色列人就遵守耶和华的吩咐，不起行。有时云彩停留在帐幕上只有几天，他们就照着耶和华的吩咐安营；也照着耶和华的吩咐起行。有时云彩从晚上到早晨停住；到了早晨，云彩一收上去，他们就起行；有时云彩从白昼到晚上都停住；云彩一收上去，他们就起行。

他展开云彩作遮盖，夜间有火光照。

耶稣说：“腓力，我跟你们在一起这么久了，你还不认识我吗？那看见了我的就是看见了父，你怎么还说‘把父显示给我们’呢？

我们现在是对着镜子观看，模糊不清，到那时就要面对面了。我现在所知道的只是一部分，到那时就完全知道了，好像主完全知道我一样。
