But Moses said to the Lord,“ Then the Egyptians will hear of it, for you brought up this people in your might from among them,

摩西對耶和華說：「埃及人必聽見這事；因為你曾施展大能，將這百姓從他們中間領上來。

摩西對耶和華說：「你曾經用大能把以色列人從埃及領出來，埃及人聽說這事後，

摩西對耶和華說：“這樣埃及人必聽見這事，因為你曾用大能，把這民從他們中間領上來；

摩西對永恆主說：『這樣、埃及人一定會聽見，一定會對這地的居民說；因為你曾施展你的大能力將這人民從他們中間領上來；

摩西對耶和華曰、如是、埃及人必聞其事、蓋爾昔施大能、率斯民出其中、

摩西告耶和華曰、昔爾施大力、率以色列民、出於埃及、斯土之民、知爾居處以色列族、為民目擊、以雲蔽之、晝導以雲、夜燭以大其狀如柱、今欲盡滅斯眾、與戮匹夫無異、則埃及億兆、風聞其事、普告於斯土、斯土之民、嘗聞爾名者、必曰、

摩西對主曰、若如此、伊及人必聞之、因主曾施大力、導斯民出伊及、

Moses said to the Lord,“ Then the Egyptians will hear about it! By your power you brought these people up from among them.

Moses said to the Lord,“ Then the Egyptians will hear about it. You used your power to bring these people up from among them.

But Moses objected.“ What will the Egyptians think when they hear about it?” he asked the Lord.“ They know full well the power you displayed in rescuing your people from Egypt.

But Moses replied to the LORD,“ The Egyptians will hear about it, for by your strength you brought up this people from them.

But Moses said to the Lord,“ Then the Egyptians will hear of it, for by Your strength You brought this people up from their midst,

And Moses said to the Lord:“ Then the Egyptians will hear it, for by Your might You brought these people up from among them,

And Moses said unto Jehovah, Then the Egyptians will hear it; for thou broughtest up this people in thy might from among them;

But Moses replied to the Lord,“ The Egyptians will hear about it, for by Your strength You brought up this people from them.

And Moses said unto the LORD, Then the Egyptians shall hear[ it],( for thou broughtest up this people in thy might from among them;)

Moses said to the LORD,“ When the Egyptians hear it– for you brought up this people by your power from among them–

Moses said to Yahweh,“ Then the Egyptians will hear it; for you brought up this people in your might from among them.

Therefore he said he would destroy them— had not Moses, his chosen one, stood in the breach before him, to turn away his wrath from destroying them.

But I acted for the sake of my name, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations among whom they lived, in whose sight I made myself known to them in bringing them out of the land of Egypt.

had I not feared provocation by the enemy, lest their adversaries should misunderstand, lest they should say,“ Our hand is triumphant, it was not the Lord who did all this.”’

But I acted for the sake of my name, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations, in whose sight I had brought them out.

But Moses implored the Lord his God and said,“ O Lord, why does your wrath burn hot against your people, whom you have brought out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand?Why should the Egyptians say,‘ With evil intent did he bring them out, to kill them in the mountains and to consume them from the face of the earth’? Turn from your burning anger and relent from this disaster against your people.Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, your servants, to whom you swore by your own self, and said to them,‘ I will multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have promised I will give to your offspring, and they shall inherit it forever.’”And the Lord relented from the disaster that he had spoken of bringing on his people.

And I prayed to the Lord,‘ O Lord God, do not destroy your people and your heritage, whom you have redeemed through your greatness, whom you have brought out of Egypt with a mighty hand.Remember your servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Do not regard the stubbornness of this people, or their wickedness or their sin,lest the land from which you brought us say,“ Because the Lord was not able to bring them into the land that he promised them, and because he hated them, he has brought them out to put them to death in the wilderness.”

O Lord, what can I say, when Israel has turned their backs before their enemies!For the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land will hear of it and will surround us and cut off our name from the earth. And what will you do for your great name?”
