有挑戰者、迦特人、名坷利亞、自非利士人營出、體長六尺有三。首冠銅冑、身衣銅甲、重二千五百兩、股著銅褌、肩負銅戟、厥槍之柯、大如織器之梁、槍之鋒刃、重約三百兩、持干者行於前。

又戰於迦特、有哩乏音子、形體傀偉、手足各有六指、共指二十有四。侮以色列族時、大闢兄示每子約拿單殺之、上四人俱哩乏音之子、居迦特邑、為大闢與臣僕所殺。

又殺埃及壯士、其體高五尺、執戈大如織器之梁、庇拿雅執杖以迎、奪其戈而殺之。
