But the men who went up with him said,“ We aren’t able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.”

但那些和他同去的人说：“我们不能上去攻击那民，因为他们比我们强壮。”

但那些和他同去的人却说：“我们不能上去攻打那些百姓，因为他们比我们强大。”

但那些和他同去的人却说：“我们不能上去攻打那些百姓，因为他们比我们强大。”

跟他一起去打探的人却说：“我们不能去攻打那些人，他们比我们强大。”

但是，那些与他同去的人却说：“我们不能上去攻击那民，因为他们比我们强。”

但那些和他同去的人說：「我們不能上去攻擊那民，因為他們比我們強壯。」

但那些和他同去的人卻說：「我們不能上去攻打那些百姓，因為他們比我們強大。」

但那些和他同去的人卻說：「我們不能上去攻打那些百姓，因為他們比我們強大。」

跟他一起去打探的人卻說：「我們不能去攻打那些人，他們比我們強大。」

但是，那些與他同去的人卻說：“我們不能上去攻擊那民，因為他們比我們強。”

但是那些和他一同上去的人說：『我們不能上去攻擊那民族，因為他們比我們強壯。』

偕行者曰、彼強於我、不可往攻、

偕行者曰、彼強於我、我不可往、

與迦勒偕往者曰、其民強於我、不可往攻之、

But the men who had gone up with him said,“ We can’t attack those people; they are stronger than we are.”

But the men who had gone up with him spoke. They said,“ We can’t attack those people. They are stronger than we are.”

Then the men who had gone up with him said,“ We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we are.”

But the other men who had explored the land with him disagreed.“ We can’t go up against them! They are stronger than we are!”

But the men who had gone up with him responded,“ We can’t attack the people because they are stronger than we are!”

But the men who had gone up with him said,“ We are not able to go up against the people, because they are too strong for us.”

But the men who had gone up with him said,“ We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we.”

But the men that went up with him said, We are not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.

But the men who had gone up with him responded,“ We can’t go up against the people because they are stronger than we are!”

But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they[ are] stronger than we.

But the men who had gone up with him said,“ We are not able to go up against these people, because they are stronger than we are!”

Nevertheless, my brothers who went up with me made the heart of the people melt; but I wholly followed Yahweh my God.

Where are we going up? Our brothers have made our heart melt, saying,‘ The people are greater and taller than we. The cities are great and fortified up to the sky. Moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakim there!’”

For when they went up to the valley of Eshcol, and saw the land, they discouraged the heart of the children of Israel, that they should not go into the land which Yahweh had given them.

We see that they weren’t able to enter in because of unbelief.

Hear, Israel! You are to pass over the Jordan today, to go in to dispossess nations greater and mightier than yourself, cities great and fortified up to the sky,
