The Amalekites live in the Negev; the Hittites, Jebusites and Amorites live in the hill country; and the Canaanites live near the sea and along the Jordan.”

The Amalekites live in the Negev Desert. The Hittites, Jebusites and Amorites live in the central hill country. The Canaanites live near the Mediterranean Sea. They also live along the Jordan River.”

The Amalekites dwell in the land of the Negeb. The Hittites, the Jebusites, and the Amorites dwell in the hill country. And the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and along the Jordan.”

The Amalekites live in the Negev, and the Hittites, Jebusites, and Amorites live in the hill country. The Canaanites live along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea and along the Jordan Valley.”

The Amalekites are living in the land of the Negev; the Hethites, Jebusites, and Amorites live in the hill country; and the Canaanites live by the sea and along the Jordan.”

Amalek is living in the land of the Negev, the Hittites, the Jebusites, and the Amorites are living in the hill country, and the Canaanites are living by the sea and by the side of the Jordan.”

The Amalekites dwell in the land of the South; the Hittites, the Jebusites, and the Amorites dwell in the mountains; and the Canaanites dwell by the sea and along the banks of the Jordan.”

Amalek dwelleth in the land of the South: and the Hittite, and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, dwell in the hill- country; and the Canaanite dwelleth by the sea, and along by the side of the Jordan.

因為亞瑪力人和迦南人都在那裡，在你們面前，你們必倒在刀下；因為你們轉離不跟隨耶和華，耶和華不與你們同在。”

就是基尼人、基尼洗人、甲摩尼人、赫人、比利洗人、利乏音人、亞摩利人、迦南人、革迦撒人、耶布斯人之地。”

所以我下來，要救他們脫離埃及人的手，領他們脫離那地，到美好寬闊之地，到流奶與蜜之地，就是到迦南人、赫人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、希未人和耶布斯人的地方。

掃羅行事勇敢，擊敗了亞瑪力人，把以色列人從搶掠他們的人手中救了出來。

迦巴勒、亞捫、亞瑪力、非利士和推羅的居民。

現在你要去攻打亞瑪力人，徹底毀滅他們所有的一切，不可憐惜他們。無論男女、孩童，或吃奶的嬰兒，牛羊、駱駝、驢子，都要殺死。’”於是掃羅招聚眾人，在提拉因數點他們，共有步兵二十萬，另有猶大人一萬。掃羅到了亞瑪力人的城市，就在山谷中設下伏兵。掃羅又對基尼人說：“你們走吧！離開亞瑪力人下去吧！免得我把你們與他們一同消滅。因為以色列眾人從埃及上來的時候，你們曾經以慈愛待他們。”於是基尼人離開亞瑪力人去了。掃羅擊殺亞瑪力人，從哈腓拉直到埃及東的書珥，生擒了亞瑪力人的王亞甲，用刀殺滅了所有人民。但掃羅和眾人憐惜亞甲，也愛惜上好的牛羊、肥牛犢、羊羔和一切美好的東西。他們不願徹底毀滅這些；凡是卑賤的、沒有價值的，他們就徹底毀滅。

我也曾說：“我要把你們從埃及的痛苦中領出來，到迦南人、赫人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人之地去，就是到流奶與蜜之地去。”’

於是，亞瑪力人和住在那山上的迦南人就下來，擊殺他們，粉碎他們，直到何珥瑪。

巴蘭看見了亞瑪力，就作歌，說：“亞瑪力原是列國之首，他的結局卻是滅亡。”

然後轉到安．密巴，就是加低斯，攻佔了亞瑪力人全部的領土，也擊敗了住在哈洗遜．他瑪的亞摩利人。

那時亞瑪力人來了，在利非訂和以色列人爭戰。摩西對約書亞說：“你要為我們選出人來，出去和亞瑪力人爭戰；明天我要站在山頂上，手裡拿著神的杖。”於是，約書亞照著摩西吩咐他的行了，去和亞瑪力人爭戰；摩西、亞倫和戶珥都上了山頂。摩西舉起手來的時候，以色列人就得勝；摩西把手放下來的時候，亞瑪力人就得勝。可是摩西的兩手疲乏了，他們就搬塊石頭來，放在摩西下面，他就坐在上面；亞倫和戶珥，一邊一個，扶著摩西的兩手；這樣，他的兩手就穩住，直到日落的時候。約書亞用刀打敗了亞瑪力王和他的人民。耶和華對摩西說：“我要把亞瑪力的名號從天下完全抹掉；你要把話寫在書上作記念，也要告訴約書亞。”摩西築了一座祭壇，給它起名叫“耶和華尼西”。摩西又說：“向耶和華的旌旗舉手，耶和華必世世代代和亞瑪力人爭戰。”

每逢以色列人撒種以後，米甸人、亞瑪力人和東方人都上來，欺壓他們；

現在亞瑪力人和迦南人住在山谷中，明天你們要回轉，從到紅海路上，起行到曠野去。”

第三天，大衛和跟隨他的人到了洗革拉。那時亞瑪力人襲擊了南地和洗革拉。他們攻破了洗革拉，又放火焚燒。
