The Amalekites live in the Negev; the Hittites, Jebusites and Amorites live in the hill country; and the Canaanites live near the sea and along the Jordan.”

The Amalekites live in the Negev Desert. The Hittites, Jebusites and Amorites live in the central hill country. The Canaanites live near the Mediterranean Sea. They also live along the Jordan River.”

The Amalekites dwell in the land of the Negeb. The Hittites, the Jebusites, and the Amorites dwell in the hill country. And the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and along the Jordan.”

The Amalekites live in the Negev, and the Hittites, Jebusites, and Amorites live in the hill country. The Canaanites live along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea and along the Jordan Valley.”

The Amalekites are living in the land of the Negev; the Hethites, Jebusites, and Amorites live in the hill country; and the Canaanites live by the sea and along the Jordan.”

Amalek is living in the land of the Negev, the Hittites, the Jebusites, and the Amorites are living in the hill country, and the Canaanites are living by the sea and by the side of the Jordan.”

因为亚玛力人和迦南人都在那里，在你们面前，你们必倒在刀下；因为你们转离不跟随耶和华，耶和华不与你们同在。”

就是基尼人、基尼洗人、甲摩尼人、赫人、比利洗人、利乏音人、亚摩利人、迦南人、革迦撒人、耶布斯人之地。”

所以我下来，要救他们脱离埃及人的手，领他们脱离那地，到美好宽阔之地，到流奶与蜜之地，就是到迦南人、赫人、亚摩利人、比利洗人、希未人和耶布斯人的地方。

扫罗行事勇敢，击败了亚玛力人，把以色列人从抢掠他们的人手中救了出来。

迦巴勒、亚扪、亚玛力、非利士和推罗的居民。

现在你要去攻打亚玛力人，彻底毁灭他们所有的一切，不可怜惜他们。无论男女、孩童，或吃奶的婴儿，牛羊、骆驼、驴子，都要杀死。’”于是扫罗招聚众人，在提拉因数点他们，共有步兵二十万，另有犹大人一万。扫罗到了亚玛力人的城市，就在山谷中设下伏兵。扫罗又对基尼人说：“你们走吧！离开亚玛力人下去吧！免得我把你们与他们一同消灭。因为以色列众人从埃及上来的时候，你们曾经以慈爱待他们。”于是基尼人离开亚玛力人去了。扫罗击杀亚玛力人，从哈腓拉直到埃及东的书珥，生擒了亚玛力人的王亚甲，用刀杀灭了所有人民。但扫罗和众人怜惜亚甲，也爱惜上好的牛羊、肥牛犊、羊羔和一切美好的东西。他们不愿彻底毁灭这些；凡是卑贱的、没有价值的，他们就彻底毁灭。

我也曾说：“我要把你们从埃及的痛苦中领出来，到迦南人、赫人、亚摩利人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人之地去，就是到流奶与蜜之地去。”’

于是，亚玛力人和住在那山上的迦南人就下来，击杀他们，粉碎他们，直到何珥玛。

巴兰看见了亚玛力，就作歌，说：“亚玛力原是列国之首，他的结局却是灭亡。”

然后转到安．密巴，就是加低斯，攻占了亚玛力人全部的领土，也击败了住在哈洗逊．他玛的亚摩利人。

那时亚玛力人来了，在利非订和以色列人争战。摩西对约书亚说：“你要为我们选出人来，出去和亚玛力人争战；明天我要站在山顶上，手里拿着神的杖。”于是，约书亚照着摩西吩咐他的行了，去和亚玛力人争战；摩西、亚伦和户珥都上了山顶。摩西举起手来的时候，以色列人就得胜；摩西把手放下来的时候，亚玛力人就得胜。可是摩西的两手疲乏了，他们就搬块石头来，放在摩西下面，他就坐在上面；亚伦和户珥，一边一个，扶着摩西的两手；这样，他的两手就稳住，直到日落的时候。约书亚用刀打败了亚玛力王和他的人民。耶和华对摩西说：“我要把亚玛力的名号从天下完全抹掉；你要把话写在书上作记念，也要告诉约书亚。”摩西筑了一座祭坛，给它起名叫“耶和华尼西”。摩西又说：“向耶和华的旌旗举手，耶和华必世世代代和亚玛力人争战。”

每逢以色列人撒种以后，米甸人、亚玛力人和东方人都上来，欺压他们；

现在亚玛力人和迦南人住在山谷中，明天你们要回转，从到红海路上，起行到旷野去。”

第三天，大卫和跟随他的人到了洗革拉。那时亚玛力人袭击了南地和洗革拉。他们攻破了洗革拉，又放火焚烧。
