And Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan, and said unto them, Get you up this[ way] southward, and go up into the mountain:

When Moses sent them to explore Canaan, he said,“ Go up through the Negev and on into the hill country.

Moses sent the 12 men to check out Canaan. He said,“ Go up through the Negev Desert. Go on into the central hill country.

Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan and said to them,“ Go up into the Negeb and go up into the hill country,

Moses gave the men these instructions as he sent them out to explore the land:“ Go north through the Negev into the hill country.

And the LORD was with Judah; and he drave out[ the inhabitants of] the mountain; but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron.

And the vale of Siddim[ was full of] slimepits; and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and fell there; and they that remained fled to the mountain.

So they went up, and searched the land from the wilderness of Zin unto Rehob, as men come to Hamath.And they ascended by the south, and came unto Hebron; where Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the children of Anak,[ were].( Now Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.)
