我要與他面對面說話，是親自說的，不是用謎語；他必看見耶和華的形象，你們出言反對我的僕人摩西，為甚麼不懼怕呢？”

我要和他親口相對地說話，是顯異象，不是用謎語；他要望着我永恆主的形像。你們為甚麼說我僕人摩西的壞話也無所戒懼呢？』

故我與之晤言、明以相告、不以隱語、彼亦睹耶和華之容、爾曹非之、曷不懼乎、

使覿我面、與之晤言、明以相告、毋庸隱喻、爾曹非之、曷不懼乎。

我與之面語、明以相告、不以隱語、又使之瞻觀我容、爾曹誹謗我僕摩西、何不懼乎、

With him I speak face to face, clearly and not in riddles; he sees the form of the Lord. Why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?”

With Moses I speak face to face. I speak with him clearly. I do not speak in riddles. I let him see something of what I look like. So why were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?”

I speak to him face to face, clearly, and not in riddles! He sees the Lord as he is. So why were you not afraid to criticize my servant Moses?”

I speak with him directly, openly, and not in riddles; he sees the form of the LORD. So why were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?”

With him I speak mouth to mouth, That is, openly, and not using mysterious language, And he beholds the form of the Lord. So why were you not afraid To speak against My servant, against Moses?”

I speak with him face to face, Even plainly, and not in dark sayings; And he sees the form of the Lord. Why then were you not afraid To speak against My servant Moses?”

with him will I speak mouth to mouth, even manifestly, and not in dark speeches; and the form of Jehovah shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant, against Moses?

I speak with him directly, openly, and not in riddles; he sees the form of the Lord. So why were you not afraid to speak against My servant Moses?”

With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?

With him I will speak face to face, openly, and not in riddles; and he will see the form of the LORD. Why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?”

With him, I will speak mouth to mouth, even plainly, and not in riddles; and he shall see Yahweh’s form. Why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant, against Moses?”

And there has not arisen a prophet since in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face,

For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.

Thus the Lord used to speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. When Moses turned again into the camp, his assistant Joshua the son of Nun, a young man, would not depart from the tent.

who alone has immortality, who dwells in unapproachable light, whom no one has ever seen or can see. To him be honor and eternal dominion. Amen.

In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.For God, who said,“ Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

and they saw the God of Israel. There was under his feet as it were a pavement of sapphire stone, like the very heaven for clearness.And he did not lay his hand on the chief men of the people of Israel; they beheld God, and ate and drank.

If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.”Philip said to him,“ Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.”Jesus said to him,“ Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say,‘ Show us the Father’?Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works.

No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.

And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

Then I will take away my hand, and you shall see my back, but my face shall not be seen.”

“ The one who hears you hears me, and the one who rejects you rejects me, and the one who rejects me rejects him who sent me.”

“ Therefore watch yourselves very carefully. Since you saw no form on the day that the Lord spoke to you at Horeb out of the midst of the fire,

This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet:“ I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.”

As for me, I shall behold your face in righteousness; when I awake, I shall be satisfied with your likeness.

To whom then will you liken God, or what likeness compare with him?

and especially those who indulge in the lust of defiling passion and despise authority. Bold and willful, they do not tremble as they blaspheme the glorious ones,

I will incline my ear to a proverb; I will solve my riddle to the music of the lyre.

If I had not done among them the works that no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin, but now they have seen and hated both me and my Father.

The Lord descended in the cloud and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the Lord.The Lord passed before him and proclaimed,“ The Lord, the Lord, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness,keeping steadfast love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children and the children’s children, to the third and the fourth generation.”

Then I said,“ Ah, Lord God! They are saying of me,‘ Is he not a maker of parables?’”

No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father’s side, he has made him known.

“ Son of man, propound a riddle, and speak a parable to the house of Israel;

“ To whom will you liken me and make me equal, and compare me, that we may be alike?

Therefore whoever disregards this, disregards not man but God, who gives his Holy Spirit to you.

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.

Aaron and all the people of Israel saw Moses, and behold, the skin of his face shone, and they were afraid to come near him.

He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

Yet in like manner these people also, relying on their dreams, defile the flesh, reject authority, and blaspheme the glorious ones.

And he said,“ I will make all my goodness pass before you and will proclaim before you my name‘ The Lord.’ And I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.

and they will tell the inhabitants of this land. They have heard that you, O Lord, are in the midst of this people. For you, O Lord, are seen face to face, and your cloud stands over them and you go before them, in a pillar of cloud by day and in a pillar of fire by night.

“ You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
