The rabble with them began to crave other food, and again the Israelites started wailing and said,“ If only we had meat to eat!

Some people with them began to wish for other food. Again the Israelites began to cry out. They said,“ We wish we had meat to eat.

Now the rabble that was among them had a strong craving. And the people of Israel also wept again and said,“ Oh that we had meat to eat!

Then the foreign rabble who were traveling with the Israelites began to crave the good things of Egypt. And the people of Israel also began to complain.“ Oh, for some meat!” they exclaimed.

Now the rabble who were among them had greedy cravings; and the sons of Israel also wept again and said,“ Who will give us meat to eat?

Now the mixed multitude who were among them yielded to intense craving; so the children of Israel also wept again and said:“ Who will give us meat to eat?

And the mixed multitude that was among them lusted exceedingly: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat?

Contemptible people among them had a strong craving for other food. The Israelites cried again and said,“ Who will feed us meat?

Now these things took place as examples for us, so that we will not desire evil things as they did.

A mixed crowd also went up with them, along with a huge number of livestock, both flocks and herds.

They were seized with craving in the wilderness and tested God in the desert.

When they heard the law, they separated all those of mixed descent from Israel.

They deliberately tested God, demanding the food they craved.They spoke against God, saying,“ Is God able to provide food in the wilderness?Look! He struck the rock and water gushed out; torrents overflowed. But can he also provide bread or furnish meat for his people?”

Now the son of an Israelite mother and an Egyptian father was among the Israelites. A fight broke out in the camp between the Israelite woman’s son and an Israelite man.Her son cursed and blasphemed the Name, and they brought him to Moses.( His mother’s name was Shelomith, a daughter of Dibri of the tribe of Dan.)

But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh to gratify its desires.
