Then the Lord came down in the cloud and spoke with him, and he took some of the power of the Spirit that was on him and put it on the seventy elders. When the Spirit rested on them, they prophesied— but did not do so again.

掃羅派一些使者去捉拿大衛。去的人見一隊先知受感說話，撒母耳站在當中領導他們，掃羅派去的使者也受上帝的靈感動說話。有人把這事告訴掃羅，他又派另一些使者去，他們也受感說話。掃羅第三次派使者去，他們也受感說話。然後掃羅親自往拉瑪去，到了西沽的大井，問人說：「撒母耳和大衛在哪裏？」有人說：「看哪，在拉瑪的拿約。」他就往那裏去，到了拉瑪的拿約。上帝的靈也臨到他，他一面走一面受感說話，直到拉瑪的拿約。他也脫了衣服，也在撒母耳面前受感說話，一日一夜赤身躺臥。因此有人說：「掃羅也在先知中嗎？」

他們來到那座山，看哪，有一隊先知遇見掃羅。上帝的靈大大感動他，他就在先知中受感說話。

因為預言從來沒有出於人意的，而是人被聖靈感動說出上帝的話來。

各樣美善的恩澤和各樣完美的賞賜都是從上頭來的，從眾光之父那裏降下來的；在他並沒有改變，也沒有轉動的影兒。

在耶利哥的先知的門徒從對面看見他，說：「感動以利亞的靈臨到以利沙身上了。」他們就來迎接他，俯伏於地，向他下拜，

先知的靈是順服先知的，

他在雲柱中向他們說話，他們遵守他的法度和他所賜給他們的律例。

「以後，我要將我的靈澆灌凡有血肉之軀的。你們的兒女要說預言，你們的老人要做異夢，你們的少年要見異象。在那些日子，我要將我的靈澆灌我的僕人和婢女。

他有四個女兒，都是未出嫁的，都會說預言。我們在那裏多住了好幾天，有一個先知，名叫亞迦布，從猶太下來。他到了我們這裏，就拿保羅的腰帶，捆上自己的手腳，說：「聖靈這樣說：『猶太人在耶路撒冷要如此捆綁這腰帶的主人，把他交在外邦人手裏。』」

在他們所行的路上，在以色列全家的眼前，白天，耶和華的雲彩在帳幕上，黑夜，有火在雲彩中。

凡男人禱告或講道，若蒙着頭，就是羞辱自己的頭。凡女人禱告或講道，若不蒙着頭，就是羞辱自己的頭，因為這就如同剃了頭髮一樣。

『上帝說：在末後的日子，我要將我的靈澆灌凡血肉之軀的。你們的兒女要說預言；你們的少年要見異象；你們的老人要做異夢。在那些日子，我要把我的靈澆灌，甚至給我的僕人和婢女，他們要說預言。

耶利米吩咐巴錄說：「我被禁止，不能進耶和華的殿。所以你要趁禁食的日子進入耶和華的殿中，把耶和華的話，就是你從我口中寫在書卷上的話，念給百姓和所有從各城鎮前來的猶大人親耳聽；

然後你要到上帝的山去，在那裏有非利士的駐軍。你到了城裏的時候，會遇見一隊先知從丘壇下來，前面有鼓瑟的、擊鼓的、吹笛的、彈琴的，他們都受感說話。耶和華的靈必大大感動你，你就與他們一同受感說話，轉變成另一個人。

你們要追求愛，也要切慕屬靈的恩賜，尤其是作先知講道。那說方言的，不是對人說，而是對上帝說，因為沒有人聽得懂；他是藉着聖靈說各樣的奧祕。但作先知講道的，是對人說，要造就、安慰、勸勉人。

耶和華在雲中降臨，與摩西一同站在那裏，宣告耶和華的名。

內中有一位，名叫亞迦布，站起來，藉着聖靈指示普天下將有大饑荒；這事在克勞第年間果然實現了。

說這些話的時候，有一朵雲彩來遮蓋他們；他們一進入雲彩就很懼怕。有聲音從雲彩裏出來，說：「這是我的兒子，我所揀選的。你們要聽從他！」
