Then the Lord came down in the cloud and spoke with him, and he took some of the power of the Spirit that was on him and put it on the seventy elders. When the Spirit rested on them, they prophesied— but did not do so again.

永恆主在雲柱中降臨，站在會棚的出入處，呼叫亞倫和米利暗；他們二人就出來。

掃羅打發差役去捉拿大衛；去的人看見一羣神言人正在傳神言，撒母耳也站在其中監管着他們；掃羅的差役們也受上帝的靈感動而發神言狂。有人將這事告訴掃羅，掃羅又打發別的差役去，這些差役也受感動而發神言狂。掃羅第三次打發差役去，這些差役也受感動而發神言狂。最後、掃羅自己也往拉瑪去；他來到無草木的小山禾場的井那裏，問人說：『撒母耳和大衛在哪裏呢？』有一個人說：『看哪，他們在拉瑪的拿約呢。』掃羅就從那裏往拉瑪的拿約去；上帝的靈也臨到他身上；他一面走，一面受感動而發神言狂，直到他抵達了拉瑪的拿約。到了那裏，他也就把衣服脫下來，也就在撒母耳面前受感動而發神言狂；那一整天一整夜他赤身裸體躺着。因此有句話說：『掃羅也在神言人中間麼？』

掃羅從那裏到了基比亞，看哪，有一班神言人迎見着他，上帝的靈大大感動他，他就在他們中間受感動而發神言狂。

神言傳講的話從來都不是人意傳的，乃是被聖靈傳的，是人由上帝說出來的。

一切美好的施與和各樣完美的恩賞、都是從上頭、從眾光之父降下來的；在他並沒有變換或轉動之陰影。

那些在離不太遠的耶利哥神言人弟子們看見他，就說：『那感動以利亞的靈真地住在以利沙身上了。』他們就來迎接他，俯伏於地拜他。

並且神言傳講師的靈、也順服着神言傳講師啊；

他在雲柱中對他們說話；他們遵守他的法度和律例、就是他所頒賜給他們的。

『日後我必將我的靈傾注於一切血肉之人；你們的兒女就必說豫言，你們的老年人就作異夢，你們的少年人就見異象。連僕人和使女、當那些日子、我也必將我的靈傾注於他們。

這個人有四個女兒，是處女，能說豫言。我們多停留了好幾天，有一個神言人名叫亞迦布、從猶太下來。來見我們，拿保羅的腰帶，捆着自己的腳和手，說：『聖靈這麼說，猶太人必在耶路撒冷這樣捆綁這腰帶的主人，給送交在外國人手裏。』

因為在他們所行的路站上、日間總有永恆主的雲彩在帳幕上，夜間總有火在其中，在以色列全家眼前。

凡男人禱告、或傳講神言、若覆着頭，就是侮辱他自己的頭。但凡女人當眾禱告、或傳講神言，若不蒙着頭，也就是侮辱她自己的頭；因為那是跟剃了頭髮一般無二的。

「上帝說：在末後的日子我必將我的靈傾注於一切血肉之人；你們的兒子、你們的女兒、就必說豫言，你們的青年人必看見奇象，你們的老年人必作夢。是的，在那些日子、我必將我的靈傾注於我的僕人、我的婢女，他們就必說豫言。

耶利米吩咐巴錄說：『我有阻礙、不能進永恆主的殿；所以你要去，趁禁食的日子、在永恆主殿中、將永恆主的話、就是你由我口傳所寫在書卷上的、念給眾民聽；你也要念給所有從他們城市中來的猶大人聽；

然後你要到基比亞以羅欣，在那裏有非利士人的駐防兵；你到了那城的時候，在那裏必突然遇見一班神言人從邱壇下來，他們前頭有琵琶、手鼓、笛、琴；這些人都受感動而發神言狂。永恆主的靈必大大感動你，你就和他們一同受感動而發神言狂；你就要變為另一個人。

你們要追求愛，也要切慕屬靈的事，尤其要切慕傳講神言的才能。因為捲舌頭說話的、不是對人說，乃是對上帝說；因為沒有人聽得來；他只是憑着靈講奧祕的事。但傳講神言的卻是對人講建立勸勉和撫慰。

永恆主在雲中降臨，同摩西站在那裏，將永恆主的名宣告出來。

其中有一個、名叫亞迦布、站起來，藉着聖靈指明普天下必有大饑荒；這事在革老丟年間果然發生了。

他說這些話的時候，有一朵雲來蔭蔽着他們；他們正入雲的時候、就起了懼怕的心。有聲音從雲中說：『這是我的兒子、我揀選的；你們要聽他。』
