The Spirit of God also came on him, and as he walked along, he prophesied until he entered Naioth in Ramah.Saul then removed his clothes and also prophesied before Samuel; he collapsed and lay naked all that day and all that night. That is why they say,“ Is Saul also among the prophets?”

When Saul and his servant arrived at Gibeah, a group of prophets met him. Then the Spirit of God came powerfully on him, and he prophesied along with them.

because no prophecy ever came by the will of man; instead, men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

When the sons of the prophets from Jericho who were observing saw him, they said,“ The spirit of Elijah rests on Elisha.” They came to meet him and bowed down to the ground in front of him.

Pursue love and desire spiritual gifts, and especially that you may prophesy.For the person who speaks in a tongue is not speaking to people but to God, since no one understands him; he speaks mysteries in the Spirit.On the other hand, the person who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouragement, and consolation.

The LORD came down in a cloud, stood with him there, and proclaimed his name,“ the LORD.”

One of them, named Agabus, stood up and predicted by the Spirit that there would be a severe famine throughout the Roman world. This took place during the reign of Claudius.

While he was saying this, a cloud appeared and overshadowed them. They became afraid as they entered the cloud.Then a voice came from the cloud, saying,“ This is my Son, the Chosen One; listen to him!”
