耶和华在云柱中降临，站在会幕门口呼唤亚伦和米利暗，二人就走到前面。

就派人去捉拿他。扫罗的人看到一群先知在说预言，撒母耳在当中带领他们。上帝的灵也临到扫罗的人，他们也说起预言来。扫罗听说后又派人去，派去的人也说起预言来。扫罗第三次派人去，派去的人同样说起预言来。最后扫罗亲自前往拉玛，走到西沽的大井，问撒母耳和大卫在哪里，有人说在拉玛的拿约。扫罗便去拉玛的拿约。上帝的灵临到扫罗，他就一边走一边说起预言来，一直到拉玛的拿约。他脱下自己的衣服，在撒母耳面前说起预言来。他赤身躺了一天一夜。因此有句俗语说：“扫罗也在先知当中吗？”

扫罗和他的仆人来到上帝的山，遇见了一群先知。上帝的灵降在扫罗身上，他就和他们一起说起预言来。

因为预言绝非出于人的意思，都是人受了圣灵的感动，讲出上帝的信息。

一切良善的施予和完美的恩赐都是从天上，从众光之父那里来的。祂不像转动的影子变幻无常。

耶利哥的先知们从远处看见他，就说：“以利亚的灵降在以利沙身上了。”他们就上前迎接，俯伏在他面前，

先知的灵受先知控制，

祂在云柱中向他们说话，他们遵守祂赐下的法度和律例。

“以后，我要将我的灵浇灌所有的人。你们的儿女要说预言，老人要做异梦，青年要见异象。在那些日子，我要将我的灵浇灌我的仆人和婢女。

腓利有四个未出嫁的女儿，都能说预言。过了几天，一个名叫亚迦布的先知从犹太下来。他到了我们这里，拿保罗的腰带绑住自己的手脚，说：“圣灵说，‘耶路撒冷的犹太人也要这样捆绑这腰带的主人，把他交给外族人。’”

一路上，白天有耶和华的云彩停留在圣幕上面，夜间云中有火光为以色列百姓照明。

男人在祷告和讲道时，若蒙着头，就是羞辱自己的头。但妇女在祷告和讲道时，若不蒙着头，就是羞辱自己的头，因为她就像剃光了头发一样。

“‘上帝说，在末后的日子，我要将我的灵浇灌所有的人，你们的儿女要说预言，青年要见异象，老人要做异梦。那时，我要将我的灵浇灌我的奴仆和婢女，他们都要说预言。

耶利米对他说：“我被囚禁，不能进入耶和华的殿，所以你要在禁食的日子，在耶和华的殿中向犹大各城来的人宣读卷轴上耶和华的话。

此后，你会去上帝的山，那里有非利士人的驻军。你一进城，就会遇见一群先知从丘坛下来，前面有人鼓瑟、敲鼓、吹笛、弹琴，先知们会说预言。耶和华的灵会降在你身上，你就会跟他们一起说预言，那时，你会变成另一个人。

你们要追求爱，也要切慕属灵的恩赐，尤其是做先知讲道的恩赐。人说方言，是对上帝说的，并非对人说的，因为没有人听得懂，他是在心灵里述说各样的奥秘。但先知讲道是对人讲的，为了要造就、鼓励、安慰人。

耶和华在云中降临和摩西一同站在那里，宣告祂的名——耶和华。

其中一位名叫亚迦布，他得到圣灵的启示，站起来预言天下将有严重的饥荒。后来，这事果然在克劳狄执政期间发生了。

他的话还没说完，有一朵云彩飘来，笼罩他们，他们进入云彩中，都很害怕。云彩中有声音说：“这是我的儿子，是我拣选的，你们要听从祂！”
