And say thou unto the people, Sanctify yourselves against tomorrow, and ye shall eat flesh: for ye have wept in the ears of the LORD, saying, Who shall give us flesh to eat? for[ it was] well with us in Egypt: therefore the LORD will give you flesh, and ye shall eat.

又要对百姓说：‘你们应当自洁，预备明天吃肉，因为你们哭号说：谁给我们肉吃！我们在埃及很好。这声音达到了耶和华的耳中，所以他必给你们肉吃。

爾語民曰、自潔為聖、以備明日食肉、蓋耶和華聞爾哭聲云、誰以肉食我、昔在埃及、我儕善矣、故耶和華將賜爾以肉、爾得食之、

告民潔己、明日可食肉、蓋我聞爾哭云、昔在埃及、我儕猶不為苦、今誰予我肉食乎。是故我將賜爾食肉。

亦告民曰、爾當潔己、以待明日、必得肉食、蓋爾號哭云、誰予我肉食、昔我儕在伊及為佳、此言主已聞矣、必賜爾肉食、

“ Tell the people:‘ Consecrate yourselves in preparation for tomorrow, when you will eat meat. The Lord heard you when you wailed,“ If only we had meat to eat! We were better off in Egypt!” Now the Lord will give you meat, and you will eat it.

“ Tell the people,‘ Set yourselves apart for tomorrow. At that time you will eat meat. The Lord heard you when you cried out. You said,“ We wish we had meat to eat. We were better off in Egypt.” Now the Lord will give you meat. And you will eat it.

And say to the people,‘ Consecrate yourselves for tomorrow, and you shall eat meat, for you have wept in the hearing of the Lord, saying,“ Who will give us meat to eat? For it was better for us in Egypt.” Therefore the Lord will give you meat, and you shall eat.

“ And say to the people,‘ Purify yourselves, for tomorrow you will have meat to eat. You were whining, and the Lord heard you when you cried,“ Oh, for some meat! We were better off in Egypt!” Now the Lord will give you meat, and you will have to eat it.

“ Tell the people: Consecrate yourselves in readiness for tomorrow, and you will eat meat because you wept in the LORD’s hearing,‘ Who will feed us meat? We were better off in Egypt.’ The LORD will give you meat and you will eat.

And you shall say to the people,‘ Consecrate yourselves for tomorrow, and you shall eat meat; for you have wept in the ears of the Lord, saying,“ Oh that someone would give us meat to eat! For we were well off in Egypt.” Therefore the Lord will give you meat and you shall eat.

Then you shall say to the people,‘ Consecrate yourselves for tomorrow, and you shall eat meat; for you have wept in the hearing of the Lord, saying,“ Who will give us meat to eat? For it was well with us in Egypt.” Therefore the Lord will give you meat, and you shall eat.

And say thou unto the people, Sanctify yourselves against to- morrow, and ye shall eat flesh; for ye have wept in the ears of Jehovah, saying, Who shall give us flesh to eat? for it was well with us in Egypt: therefore Jehovah will give you flesh, and ye shall eat.

“ Tell the people: Purify yourselves in readiness for tomorrow, and you will eat meat because you cried before the Lord:‘ Who will feed us meat? We really had it good in Egypt.’ The Lord will give you meat and you will eat.

“ And say to the people,‘ Sanctify yourselves for tomorrow, and you will eat meat, for you have wept in the hearing of the LORD, saying,“ Who will give us meat to eat, for life was good for us in Egypt?” Therefore the LORD will give you meat, and you will eat.

“ Say to the people,‘ Sanctify yourselves in preparation for tomorrow, and you will eat meat; for you have wept in the ears of Yahweh, saying,“ Who will give us meat to eat? For it was well with us in Egypt.” Therefore Yahweh will give you meat, and you will eat.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes,

And[ when] the people complained, it displeased the LORD: and the LORD heard[ it]; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the LORD burnt among them, and consumed[ them that were] in the uttermost parts of the camp.

To whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust[ him] from them, and in their hearts turned back again into Egypt,

And the children of Israel said unto them, Would to God we had died by the hand of the LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the flesh pots,[ and] when we did eat bread to the full; for ye have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger.Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.And it shall come to pass, that on the sixth day they shall prepare[ that] which they bring in; and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.And Moses and Aaron said unto all the children of Israel, At even, then ye shall know that the LORD hath brought you out from the land of Egypt:And in the morning, then ye shall see the glory of the LORD; for that he heareth your murmurings against the LORD: and what[ are] we, that ye murmur against us?

And he said unto the people, Be ready against the third day: come not at[ your] wives.

And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness!And wherefore hath the LORD brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt?

And the mixt multitude that[ was] among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat?We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick:But now our soul[ is] dried away:[ there is] nothing at all, beside this manna,[ before] our eyes.

Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that[ were] with him, Put away the strange gods that[ are] among you, and be clean, and change your garments:

Up, sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against tomorrow: for thus saith the LORD God of Israel,[ There is] an accursed thing in the midst of thee, O Israel: thou canst not stand before thine enemies, until ye take away the accursed thing from among you.

And the people came to the house of God, and abode there till even before God, and lifted up their voices, and wept sore;
