I will come down and speak with you there, and I will take some of the power of the Spirit that is on you and put it on them. They will share the burden of the people with you so that you will not have to carry it alone.

耶和華的靈會大大臨到你，你就會與他們一同說預言，轉變為另一個人。

我們所領受的，不是這世界的靈，而是從神而來的靈，好讓我們能知道神所賜給我們的這些事；

但既然神的靈真是住在你們裡面，你們就不屬於肉體，而屬於聖靈了。不過如果有人沒有基督的靈，這個人就不屬於基督了。

耶和華降臨，要看世人建造的城和塔。

「必有一位救贖主臨到錫安，臨到雅各家中轉離過犯的人。」這是耶和華的宣告。耶和華說：「至於我，我與他們所立的約就是：那在你身上的我的靈、我放在你口中的我的話，必不離開你的口，也不離開你後裔的口以及你後裔之後裔的口；從今直到永遠！」這是耶和華說的。

因此，那拒絕這吩咐的，不是拒絕人，而是拒絕神——就是將他的聖靈賜給你們的那一位。

恩賜雖然有所不同，但聖靈卻是同一位；服事工作雖然有所不同，但主卻是同一位；功用雖然有所不同，但在每個人裡面運作萬事的神卻是同一位。不過聖靈顯明在每個人的身上，是為了共同的益處，因為：有人藉著聖靈被賜予了智慧的話語，又有人藉著同一位聖靈被賜予了知識的話語，另有人藉著同一位聖靈被賜予了信仰，又有人藉著這獨一的聖靈被賜予了使人痊癒的恩賜，又有人被賜予了大能的功用，又有人被賜予了做先知傳道的恩賜，又有人被賜予了對不同靈的分辨力，另有人被賜予了各種殊言，又有人被賜予了翻譯殊言的恩賜。然而，這一切都是這同一位聖靈，就是獨一的聖靈所運作的；他照著自己的旨意，個別地分給每個人。

這些人是製造分裂的、屬血氣的、沒有聖靈的。

神與亞伯拉罕說完了話，就從亞伯拉罕面前上升而去。

因為我要用水澆灌乾渴之處，用河流澆灌乾旱之地；我要把我的靈澆灌在你的後裔身上，把我的祝福澆灌在你的子孫身上。

除了從天上降下來的人子，沒有人升過天。

耶穌這話是指著信他的人所要領受的聖靈而說的。當時，聖靈還沒有臨到，因為耶穌還沒有得榮耀。

亞伯蘭臉伏於地；神又對他說：

所以弟兄們，要從你們當中挑選七個有好名聲、充滿聖靈和智慧的人；我們就委任他們統管這事務。這樣，我們將可專心於禱告和福音的服事工作。」

你們既然藉著順從真理，使自己的靈魂純潔，以致有了不虛假的弟兄之愛，就應當以潔淨的心，彼此熱切地相愛。

耶和華與亞伯拉罕說完話就走了，亞伯拉罕也回自己的地方去了。

然後耶和華說：「控告所多瑪和格摩拉的呼聲非常大，他們的罪惡極其深重；我要下去，看看他們所做的一切，是不是像那達到我耳中的呼聲；如果不是，我也會知道。」其中兩人轉身離開那裡往所多瑪去，而亞伯拉罕仍然站在耶和華的面前。
