Dan’s troops went last, marching behind their banner and serving as the rear guard for all the tribal camps. Their leader was Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai.

十日、但之牧伯、亞米沙太子亞劦斯獻禮物、

昔出埃及、亞馬力人所行、汝必記念。爾途間困憊、亞馬力人不畏上帝、擊爾後隊之荏弱者。

則爾之光明、必如平旦、爾之沉痾、一朝頓失、爾之仁義、護爾於前、我之榮光、衛爾於後。

北方有但之纛、及其軍旅、亞米沙太子亞劦斯為但之牧伯、能臨陳者、計六萬二千七百。亞設支派從其右、惡蘭子帕結為牧伯、能臨陳者、計四萬一千五百。納大利支派從其左、以南子亞希喇為牧伯、能臨陳者、計五萬三千四百。凡從但之營、能臨陳者、計十五萬七千六百、遄征其後。○

但將治其民、為以色列族支派之一。但如蛇於途側、蝮於道旁、以傷馬足、乘者下墜。

出巴比倫時、宜從容不迫、毋若逃遁之人、蓋以色列族之上帝、必導爾於前、護爾於後。
