Finally, as the rear guard for all the units, the divisions of the camp of Dan set out under their standard. Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai was in command.

Finally, the groups of the camp of Dan started out. They marched out under their flag. They followed behind all the other groups and guarded them. Ahiezer was their commander. He was the son of Ammishaddai.

Then the standard of the camp of the people of Dan, acting as the rear guard of all the camps, set out by their companies, and over their company was Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

Dan’s troops went last, marching behind their banner and serving as the rear guard for all the tribal camps. Their leader was Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai.

這就是按着宗族，但的眾子：屬書含的，有書含族。按着宗族，這就是但的各族。按照他們被數的，書含全宗族共有六萬四千四百名。按着宗族，亞設的眾子：屬音拿的，有音拿族；屬亦施韋的，有亦施韋族；屬比利亞的，有比利亞族。比利亞的眾子：屬希別的，有希別族；屬瑪結的，有瑪結族。亞設的女兒名叫西拉。這就是亞設子孫的各族；他們被數的共有五萬三千四百名。按着宗族，拿弗他利的眾子：屬雅薛的，有雅薛族；屬沽尼的，有沽尼族；屬耶色的，有耶色族；屬示冷的，有示冷族。按着宗族，這就是拿弗他利的各族；他們被數的共有四萬五千四百名。這就是以色列人中被數的，共有六十萬零一千七百三十名。

第十天是但子孫的領袖，亞米沙代的兒子亞希以謝。

「你要記得你們出埃及的時候，亞瑪力在路上怎樣對待你，在路上迎擊你，趁你疲乏困倦時擊殺所有在你後面軟弱的人；並不敬畏神。

這樣，必有光如晨光破曉照耀你，你也要快快得到醫治；你的公義在你前面行，耶和華的榮光必作你的後盾。

「在北邊，按照他們的隊伍是但營的旗幟。但人的領袖是亞米沙代的兒子亞希以謝，他的軍隊被數的有六萬二千七百名。在他旁邊安營的是亞設支派。亞設人的領袖是俄蘭的兒子帕結，他的軍隊被數的有四萬一千五百名。還有拿弗他利支派，拿弗他利人的領袖是以南的兒子亞希拉，他的軍隊被數的有五萬三千四百名。凡屬但營被數的共有十五萬七千六百名；他們隨着自己的旗幟行在最後。」

但必為他的百姓伸冤，作為以色列支派之一。但必作道旁的蛇，路邊的毒蛇，咬傷馬蹄，使騎馬的人向後墜落。

你們出來必不致匆忙，也不致奔逃；因為耶和華要在你們前頭行，以色列的神必作你們的後盾。
