Dan’s troops went last, marching behind their banner and serving as the rear guard for all the tribal camps. Their leader was Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai.

第十天是但子孫的首領、亞米沙代的兒子亞希以謝。

『你要記得你們出了埃及、在路上的時候、亞瑪力人向你所行的；他怎樣在路上遇見了你，你疲乏困倦的時候、他怎樣截擊你的儘後隊、擊打你後面所有支離破碎的人，也不敬畏上帝。

這樣，你的光就必暴發如破曉，你的新肉就必迅速地生；你的義氣就必在你前頭行進；永恆主的榮光就必做你的後衛了。

『在北邊按着他們的部隊是但營的大旗；有亞米沙代的兒子亞希以謝做但人的族長。他的部隊、被點閱的、有六萬二千七百人。挨着他而紮營的、是亞設支派；有俄蘭的兒子帕結做亞設人的族長。他的部隊、被點閱的、有四萬一千五百人。又拿弗他利支派；有以南的兒子亞希拉做拿弗他利人的族長。他的部隊、被點閱的、有五萬三千四百人。凡屬但營被點閱的、有十五萬七千六百人：他們要歸自己的大旗做末隊往前行。』

但必為他人民伸權利、做以色列一個族派。但必做道路上的蛇，路徑上的角蛇，咬傷馬的腳後跟，以致騎馬的向後墜落。

你們出來、不必慌慌張張，不必奔逃而行，因為永恆主必在你們前頭領導；以色列的上帝必做你們的後衛。
