我从以色列人中将利未人当作赏赐给亚伦和他的儿子，在会幕中办以色列人的事，又为以色列人赎罪，免得他们挨近圣所，有灾殃临到他们中间。”

从以色列人的一半之中，就是从人口、牛、驴、羊群、各样牲畜中，每五十取一，交给看守耶和华帐幕的利未人。”

替他和会众在会幕前守所吩咐的，办理帐幕的事。又要看守会幕的器具，并守所吩咐以色列人的，办理帐幕的事。

无论是人口是牲畜，摩西每五十取一，交给看守耶和华帐幕的利未人，是照耶和华所吩咐摩西的。

圣灵立你们作全群的监督，你们就当为自己谨慎，也为全群谨慎，牧养神的教会，就是他用自己血所买来的。我知道，我去之后必有凶暴的豺狼进入你们中间，不爱惜羊群。就是你们中间，也必有人起来说悖谬的话，要引诱门徒跟从他们。所以你们应当警醒，记念我三年之久昼夜不住地流泪、劝戒你们各人。

耶和华因伯示麦人擅观他的约柜，就击杀了他们七十人；那时有五万人在那里。百姓因耶和华大大击杀他们，就哀哭了。

只要派利未人管法柜的帐幕和其中的器具，并属乎帐幕的；他们要抬帐幕和其中的器具，并要办理帐幕的事，在帐幕的四围安营。

在帐幕前东边，向日出之地安营的是摩西、亚伦，和亚伦的儿子。他们看守圣所，替以色列人守耶和华所吩咐的。近前来的外人必被治死。

务要传道，无论得时不得时总要专心，并用百般的忍耐、各样的教训责备人，警戒人，劝勉人。

你要以宣读、劝勉、教导为念，直等到我来。你不要轻忽所得的恩赐，就是从前藉着预言、在众长老按手的时候赐给你的。这些事你要殷勤去做，并要在此专心，使众人看出你的长进来。你要谨慎自己和自己的教训，要在这些事上恒心；因为这样行，又能救自己，又能救听你的人。

就是先知说假预言，祭司藉他们把持权柄；我的百姓也喜爱这些事，到了结局你们怎样行呢？”

你要带你弟兄利未人，就是你祖宗支派的人前来，使他们与你联合，服侍你，只是你和你的儿子，要一同在法柜的帐幕前供职。他们要守所吩咐你的，并守全帐幕，只是不可挨近圣所的器具和坛，免得他们和你们都死亡。他们要与你联合，也要看守会幕，办理帐幕一切的事，只是外人不可挨近你们。你们要看守圣所和坛，免得忿怒再临到以色列人。

“利未人是这样：从二十五岁以外，他们要前来任职，办会幕的事。到了五十岁要停工退任，不再办事，只要在会幕里，和他们的弟兄一同伺候，谨守所吩咐的，不再办事了。至于所吩咐利未人的，你要这样向他们行。”

所以万军之耶和华论到先知如此说：我必将茵陈给他们吃，又将苦胆水给他们喝；因为亵渎的事出于耶路撒冷的先知，流行遍地。

至于我们，耶和华是我们的神，我们并没有离弃他。我们有侍奉耶和华的祭司，都是亚伦的后裔，并有利未人各尽其职，
