The Levites, however, are to set up their tents around the tabernacle of the covenant law so that my wrath will not fall on the Israelite community. The Levites are to be responsible for the care of the tabernacle of the covenant law.”

摩西對亞倫說：「取香爐來，裡面放些壇上的火，添上香，趕快帶到會眾那裡為他們贖罪，因為耶和華發怒了，瘟疫已經開始。」

摩西對亞倫和他剩下的兩個兒子以利亞撒和以他瑪說：「你們不要蓬頭散髮，也不要撕裂衣服，免得你們死亡，也免得耶和華向全體會眾發怒。不過，你們的所有以色列同胞都可以為耶和華用火燒死的人哀傷。

把他們交給亞倫父子們，替以色列人在會幕中司職，為以色列人贖罪，免得以色列人因接近聖所而遭禍。」

要從會眾分得的俘虜和牛、驢、羊等牲畜中抽出五十分之一交給在我聖幕司職的利未人。」

他們要為亞倫和全體會眾在會幕司職，辦理聖幕的事務，也要負責看守會幕裡面的器具，為以色列人辦理聖幕的事務。

摩西照耶和華的吩咐，從中抽出五十分之一交給在聖幕裡司職的利未人。

你們要為自己，也要為教會的群羊警醒，因為聖靈已經任命你們做群羊的監督，牧養上帝的教會。教會是主用自己的血贖回來的。我知道，在我離開以後，一定會有兇惡的豺狼闖進你們中間，殘害羊群。就是你們中間也會有人起來歪曲真理，引誘門徒跟隨他們。所以你們一定要警醒，牢記這三年來我怎樣晝夜不住地流著淚勸誡你們。

那一天，耶和華擊殺了七十個伯·示麥人，因為他們擅自觀看約櫃裡面。民眾為此哀慟不已，

你要派利未人負責搬運和照料放約櫃的聖幕及其所有器具，他們要在聖幕四圍紮營。

摩西、亞倫和亞倫的兒子們要在聖幕東面、朝日出的方向安營，為以色列人在聖所司職。凡擅自走近聖所的人，都要被處死。

無論時機好壞，都要堅持傳道，以百般的忍耐和教導督責人、警戒人、勉勵人。

在我來之前，你要專心宣讀聖經，勉勵會眾，教導真理。不要忽略你的恩賜，那是藉著預言在眾長老把手按在你身上時賜給你的。你要全心全意地做這些事，讓大家都看到你的長進。你要注意自己的言行和教導，要持之以恆。這樣，你不但能救自己，也能救那些聽你教導的人。

就是先知說假預言，祭司濫用權力，我的子民卻以此為樂。但當最後的結局來臨時，他們還能做什麼呢？

你和你兒子在安放約櫃的聖幕供職時，要把你們利未支派的親族也一同帶去，讓他們協助你。他們要遵守你的吩咐，看守整個聖幕，但不可接近聖所的器具和祭壇，以免他們和你們都死亡。他們要協助你，負責看守聖幕，辦理聖幕的一切事務。外人不可靠近。你們要看守聖所和祭壇，以免我的憤怒再臨到以色列人。

「二十五歲以上的利未人都要到會幕司職，五十歲時退休。退休之後，他們可以協助本族弟兄看守會幕，不用再司職。你要這樣給他們分派工作。」

因此，論到這些先知，萬軍之耶和華說，『看啊，我要使他們吃苦艾，喝毒藥，因為褻瀆之風從耶路撒冷的先知那裡蔓延，遍及全境。』」

「至於我們，耶和華是我們的上帝，我們沒有背棄祂，我們有亞倫的後裔做祭司事奉耶和華，也有利未人各盡其職。
