主見其心誠信於主前、與之立約、許以迦南人、赫人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、耶布斯人、革迦西人之地、賜其苗裔、主為至義、已踐前言、

You found his heart faithful to you, and you made a covenant with him to give to his descendants the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Jebusites and Girgashites. You have kept your promise because you are righteous.

You knew that his heart was faithful to you. And you made a covenant with him. You promised to give to his children after him a land of their own. It was the land of the Canaanites, Hittites and Amorites. The Perizzites, Jebusites and Girgashites also lived there. You have kept your promise. That’s because you always do what is right and fair.

You found his heart faithful before you, and made with him the covenant to give to his offspring the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Jebusite, and the Girgashite. And you have kept your promise, for you are righteous.

When he had proved himself faithful, you made a covenant with him to give him and his descendants the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Jebusites, and Girgashites. And you have done what you promised, for you are always true to your word.

You found his heart faithful in your sight, and made a covenant with him to give the land of the Canaanites, Hethites, Amorites, Perizzites, Jebusites, and Girgashites— to give it to his descendants. You have fulfilled your promise, for you are righteous.

When you perceived that his heart was faithful toward you, you established a covenant with him to give his descendants the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, and the Girgashites. You have fulfilled your promise, for you are righteous.

亞伯蘭信耶和華，耶和華就以此算他為義。

在那日，耶和華與亞伯蘭立約，說：「我已賜給你的後裔這一片地，從埃及河直到大河，幼發拉底河，就是基尼人、基尼洗人、甲摩尼人、赫人、比利洗人、利乏音人、亞摩利人、迦南人、革迦撒人、耶布斯人的地。」

藉這兩件不可更改的事－在這些事上，神絕不會說謊－我們這些逃往避難所的人能得到強有力的鼓勵，去抓住那擺在我們前頭的指望。

我要與你，以及你世世代代的後裔堅立我的約，成為永遠的約，是要作你和你後裔的神。我要把你現在寄居的地，就是迦南全地，賜給你和你的後裔永遠為業；我也必作他們的神。」

「看哪，我今日要走世人必走的路了。你們要一心一意知道，耶和華－你們神所應許要賜給你們的一切福氣，沒有一件落空，都應驗在你們身上了。

耶和華向亞伯蘭顯現，說：「我要把這地賜給你的後裔。」亞伯蘭就在那裏為向他顯現的耶和華築了一座壇。

這樣，耶和華將從前向他們列祖起誓要給他們的全地賜給以色列人，他們就得了為業，住在其中。耶和華照着向他們列祖起誓所應許的一切，賜給他們全境安寧。他們所有的仇敵，沒有一個能在他們面前站立得住。耶和華把所有仇敵都交在他們手中。耶和華應許賜福給以色列家的話，一句都沒有落空，全都應驗了。

你能進去得他們的地，並不是因你的義，也不是因你心裏正直，而是因這些國家的惡，耶和華－你的神才把他們從你面前趕出去，為了應驗耶和華向你列祖亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起誓應許的話。」

這真理是在盼望那無謊言的神在萬古之先所應許的永生，

我們的祖宗亞伯拉罕把他兒子以撒獻在壇上，豈不是因行為得稱義嗎？可見信心是與他的行為相輔並行，而且信心是因着行為才得以成全的。這正應驗了經上所說：「亞伯拉罕信了神，這就算他為義」；他又得稱為神的朋友。

他記念他的約，直到永遠；記念他吩咐的話，直到千代，就是與亞伯拉罕所立的約，向以撒所起的誓。

他廢了掃羅之後，就興起大衛作他們的王，又為他作見證說：『我尋得耶西的兒子大衛，他是合我心意的人，他要遵行我一切的旨意。』

我感謝那賜給我力量的我們的主基督耶穌，因為他認為我可信任，派我服事他。我從前是褻瀆、迫害、侮慢神的人；然而我還蒙了憐憫，因為我是在不信、不明白的時候做的。

因為耶和華愛你們，又因要遵守他向你們列祖所起的誓，耶和華就用大能的手領你們出來，救贖你脫離為奴之家，脫離埃及王法老的手。所以，你知道耶和華－你的神，他是神，是信實的神。他向愛他、守他誡命的人守約施慈愛，直到千代；

因着信，亞伯拉罕被考驗的時候把以撒獻上，這就是那領受了應許的人甘心把自己獨生的兒子獻上。

他們髮白的時候仍結果子，而且鮮美多汁，好顯明耶和華是正直的；他是我的磐石，在他毫無不義。

這樣，約書亞照着耶和華所吩咐摩西的一切話奪了那全地，就按着以色列支派所得的份把地分給他們為業。於是國中太平，沒有戰爭了。

他向我們列祖施憐憫，記得他的聖約，就是他對我們祖宗亞伯拉罕所起的誓，

到當時的祭司那裏，對他說：『我今日向耶和華－你的神宣認，我已來到耶和華向我們列祖起誓要賜給我們的地。』

耶和華對亞伯蘭說：「你要離開本地、本族、父家，往我所要指示你的地去。我必使你成為大國，我必賜福給你，使你的名為大；你要使別人得福。為你祝福的，我必賜福給他；詛咒你的，我必詛咒他。地上的萬族都必因你得福。」

以及東方和西方的迦南人、山區的亞摩利人、赫人、比利洗人、耶布斯人，和黑門山下米斯巴地的希未人那裏。

神非人，必不致說謊，也非人子，必不致後悔。他說了豈不照着做呢？他發了言豈不實現呢？

約旦河西，住山區、低地和沿大海一帶直到黎巴嫩的諸王，就是赫人、亞摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人的諸王，聽見這事，

我下來是要救他們脫離埃及人的手，領他們從那地上來，到美好與寬闊之地，到流奶與蜜之地，就是迦南人、赫人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人之地。

我們若認自己的罪，神是信實的，是公義的，必要赦免我們的罪，洗淨我們一切的不義。

說：「耶和華說：『你既行了這事，沒有留下你的兒子，就是你的獨子，我指着自己起誓：我必多多賜福給你，我必使你的後裔大大增多，如同天上的星、海邊的沙。你的後裔必得仇敵的城門，並且地上的萬國都必因你的後裔得福，因為你聽從了我的話。』」

天使說：「不可在這孩子身上下手！一點也不可傷害他！現在我知道你是敬畏神的人了，因為你沒有把你的兒子，就是你的獨子，留下不給我。」

「耶和華－你的神領你進入你要得為業之地，從你面前趕出許多國家，就是比你更強大的七個國家：赫人、革迦撒人、亞摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人。

他帶領自己的百姓歡樂而出，帶領自己的選民歡呼前往。他把列國的地賜給他們，他們就承受萬民勞碌得來的，

我也曾說：要把你們從埃及的困苦中領出來，往迦南人、赫人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人的地去，就是到流奶與蜜之地。』
