You are righteous concerning all that has happened to us, because you have acted faithfully, while we have acted wickedly.

In all that has happened to us, you have remained righteous; you have acted faithfully, while we acted wickedly.

In spite of everything that has happened to us, you have been fair. You have been faithful in what you have done. But we did what was evil.

Yet you have been righteous in all that has come upon us, for you have dealt faithfully and we have acted wickedly.

Every time you punished us you were being just. We have sinned greatly, and you gave us only what we deserved.

However, You are righteous in everything that has happened to us; For You have dealt faithfully, but we have acted wickedly.

However You are just in all that has befallen us; For You have dealt faithfully, But we have done wickedly.

Howbeit thou art just in all that is come upon us; for thou hast dealt truly, but we have done wickedly;

Howbeit thou[ art] just in all that is brought upon us; for thou hast done right, but we have done wickedly:

You are righteous with regard to all that has happened to us, for you have acted faithfully. It is we who have been in the wrong!

However you are just in all that has come on us; for you have dealt truly, but we have done wickedly.

You could not possibly do such a thing: to kill the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and the wicked alike. You could not possibly do that! Won’t the Judge of the whole earth do what is just?”

Both we and our ancestors have sinned; we have done wrong and have acted wickedly.

You will be righteous, LORD, even if I bring a case against you. Yet, I wish to contend with you: Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why do all the treacherous live at ease?

God does not need to examine a person further, that one should approach him in court.

The LORD is just, for I have rebelled against his command. Listen, all you people; look at my pain. My young women and young men have gone into captivity.

we have sinned, done wrong, acted wickedly, rebelled, and turned away from your commands and ordinances.We have not listened to your servants the prophets, who spoke in your name to our kings, leaders, ancestors, and all the people of the land.Lord, righteousness belongs to you, but this day public shame belongs to us: the men of Judah, the residents of Jerusalem, and all Israel— those who are near and those who are far, in all the countries where you have banished them because of the disloyalty they have shown toward you.LORD, public shame belongs to us, our kings, our leaders, and our ancestors, because we have sinned against you.Compassion and forgiveness belong to the Lord our God, though we have rebelled against himand have not obeyed the LORD our God by following his instructions that he set before us through his servants the prophets.All Israel has broken your law and turned away, refusing to obey you. The promised curse written in the law of Moses, the servant of God, has been poured out on us because we have sinned against him.He has carried out his words that he spoke against us and against our rulers by bringing on us a disaster that is so great that nothing like what has been done to Jerusalem has ever been done under all of heaven.Just as it is written in the law of Moses, all this disaster has come on us, yet we have not sought the favor of the LORD our God by turning from our iniquities and paying attention to your truth.So the LORD kept the disaster in mind and brought it on us, for the LORD our God is righteous in all he has done. But we have not obeyed him.

You are righteous, LORD, and your judgments are just.

“ But when they confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their ancestors— their unfaithfulness that they practiced against me, and how they acted with hostility toward me,and I acted with hostility toward them and brought them into the land of their enemies— and when their uncircumcised hearts are humbled and they make amends for their iniquity,

He will look at men and say,“ I have sinned and perverted what was right; yet I did not get what I deserved.

The LORD is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all his acts.
