他們不忠於耶和華，生了私生子。現在新月必吞滅他們和他們的地業。

願你睜眼看，側耳聽你僕人今日晝夜在你面前，為你眾僕人以色列人的祈禱，承認我們以色列人向你所犯的罪；我與我父家都犯了罪。

說：「我的神啊，我抱愧蒙羞，不敢向你－我的神仰面，因為我們的罪孽多到滅頂，我們的罪惡滔天。從我們祖先的日子直到今日，我們的罪惡深重；因我們的罪孽，我們和君王、祭司都交在鄰國諸王的手中，被殺害，擄掠，搶奪，臉上蒙羞，正如今日的景況。

因他們為自己和兒子娶了這些外邦女子，以致聖潔的種子和列邦民族混雜，而且領袖和官長在這事上是罪魁。」

我們與我們的祖宗一同犯罪，偏邪行惡。我們的祖宗在埃及不明白你的奇事，不記念你豐盛的慈愛，反倒在紅海行了悖逆。

求你救拔我，救我脫離外邦人的手。他們的口說謊話，他們的右手起假誓。

你們倖存的人必因自己的罪孽在敵人之地衰殘，也要因祖先的罪孽衰殘。「他們要承認自己的罪孽和祖先的罪孽，就是背叛我，行事與我作對的過犯。

耶和華－以色列的神啊，你是公義的，我們才能剩下這些殘存之民，正如今日的景況。看哪，我們在你面前有罪惡，因此無人能在你面前站立得住。」

我們若在光明中行走，如同神在光明中，就彼此有團契，他兒子耶穌的血就洗淨我們一切的罪。我們若說自己沒有罪，就是欺騙自己，真理就不在我們裏面了。我們若認自己的罪，神是信實的，是公義的，必要赦免我們的罪，洗淨我們一切的不義。

求你從高處伸手救拔我，救我脫離大水，脫離外邦人的手。

你離棄了你的百姓雅各家，因為他們充滿了東方的習俗，又像非利士人一樣觀星象，並與外邦人擊掌。
