他把海分开，使他们过去，又叫水立起如垒。

摩西就向海伸手，到了天亮的时候，海恢复原状。埃及人逃避水的时候，耶和华把他们推入海中。海水回流，淹没了战车和战车长，以及那些跟着以色列人下到海中的法老全军，连一个也没有剩下。

摩西向海伸手，耶和华就用强劲的东风，使海水在一夜间退去，海就成了干地；水分开了。以色列人下到海中，走在干地上，水在他们左右成了墙壁。

称谢那分裂红海的，因他的慈爱永远长存。他领以色列从其中经过，因他的慈爱永远长存；却把法老和他的军队推落红海里，因他的慈爱永远长存。

那时，他的百姓想起古时摩西的日子：“那将百姓和牧养群羊的人从海里领上来的在哪里呢？那将圣灵降在他们中间，以荣耀的膀臂在摩西右边行动，在百姓面前将水分开，为要建立自己永远的名，又带领他们经过深处的在哪里呢？”他们如马行走旷野，不致绊跌；

沧海看见就奔逃，约旦河也倒流。大山踊跃如公羊，小山跳舞如羔羊。沧海啊，你为何奔逃？约旦哪，你为何倒流？

他斥责红海，海就干了，带领他们走过深海，如走旷野。他拯救他们脱离恨他们之人的手，从仇敌手中救赎他们。水淹没他们的敌人，没有一个存留。

因着信，他们过红海如行干地；埃及人试着要过去就被淹没了。

他将海变成干地，使百姓步行过河；我们在那里要因他欢喜。

那时，摩西和以色列人向耶和华唱这歌，说：“我要向耶和华歌唱，因他大大得胜，将马和骑马的投在海中。耶和华是我的力量，是我的诗歌，他也成了我的拯救。这是我的上帝，我要赞美他；我父亲的上帝，我要尊崇他。耶和华是战士；耶和华是他的名。“法老的战车、军兵，他已抛在海中；法老精选的军官都沉于红海。深水淹没他们；他们好像石头坠到深处。耶和华啊，你的右手施展能力，大显荣耀；耶和华啊，你的右手摔碎仇敌。你大发威严，摧毁了你的敌人；你发出烈怒，吞灭他们如同碎秸。因你鼻中的气，水就聚成堆，大水竖立如垒，海的中心深水凝结。仇敌说：‘我要追赶，我要追上，我要分掳物，在他们身上满足我的心愿，我要拔刀，亲手毁灭他们。’你用风一吹，海水就淹没他们；他们像铅沉在大水之中。“耶和华啊，众神明中，谁能像你？谁能像你，至圣至荣，可颂可畏，施行奇事！你伸出右手，地就吞灭他们。“你以慈爱引领你所救赎的百姓；你以能力引导他们到你的圣所。万民听见就战抖；疼痛抓住非利士的居民。那时，以东的族长惊惶，摩押的英雄被战兢抓住，迦南所有的居民都融化。惊骇恐惧临到他们；耶和华啊，因你膀臂的大能，他们如石头寂静不动，等候你百姓过去，等候你所赎的百姓过去。你要将他们领进去，栽在你产业的山上，耶和华啊，就是你为自己所造的住处，主啊，就是你手所建立的圣所。耶和华必作王，直到永永远远！”法老的马匹、战车和战车长下到海中，耶和华使海水回流到他们身上；以色列人却走在海中的干地上。那时，米利暗女先知，亚伦的姊姊，手里拿着铃鼓；众妇女也跟她出去打鼓跳舞。米利暗回应他们：“你们要歌颂耶和华，因他大大得胜，将马和骑马的投在海中。”

有一位大力的天使举起一块石头，好像大磨石，扔在海里，说：“巴比伦大城也必这样猛力地被扔下去，绝对见不到了。
