所以我願男人在各地方禱告，無忿怒無爭論地舉起虔聖的手來祈禱。

我們來獻心舉手向天上的上帝禱告吧：

人民就相信；他們聽見永恆主眷顧以色列人，看見他們的困苦，就俯伏敬拜。

約沙法就面伏於地；猶大眾人和耶路撒冷的居民也都拜倒在永恆主面前，敬拜永恆主。

你們要向聖所舉手禱告，祝頌永恆主。

就稍往前走，俯伏在地上禱告說：『我父啊，倘若可能，就叫這杯離開我吧；然而不要照我所願的，只要照你所願的。』

永恆主上帝、以色列之上帝、那獨行奇妙事的、是當受祝頌的。他榮耀之名是當受祝頌到永遠的；願他的榮耀充滿了全地。阿們！阿們！

亞伯蘭對所多瑪王說：『我已經向天地的製作主，至高者上帝永恆主舉手起誓；

有火從永恆主面前出來，在祭壇上燒盡了燔祭和脂肪；眾民看見、就大聲歡呼，臉伏於地。

儘我活着的時候我總要這樣祝頌你；總要奉你的名來舉手禱告。

願祝頌歸於我們主耶穌基督的父上帝；他照他的大憐憫、藉着耶穌基督從死人中起來的復活、重新生了我們，來得個活活的盼望，

願我的禱告如燻祭的香氣陳列於你面前；願我的舉手祈禱如獻晚祭。

那人就俯伏敬拜永恆主，

你們就要說：「這是獻給永恆主的逾越節之祭。當以色列人在埃及、永恆主擊死了埃及人的時候，他越過以色列人的房屋，援救了我們的家。」』於是人民俯伏敬拜。

大衛對全體大眾說：『你們要祝頌永恆主你們的上帝。』於是全體大眾就祝頌永恆主他們列祖的上帝，俯伏叩拜永恆主和王。

我向你呼救，向你聖殿儘內堂舉手禱告時，願你聽我懇求的聲音。

希西家王和眾首領又吩咐利未人要用大衛和見異象者亞薩的詩詞讚美永恆主；他們就歡歡喜喜地讚美，俯伏敬拜。

領我們不進入試誘；要援救我們脫離那邪惡者。

神言人耶利米說：『誠心所願！願永恆主這樣行！願永恆主實行你的話，你所傳為神言的話！將永恆主殿中的器皿、和一切流亡的人、都從巴比倫帶回這地來！

願祝頌歸與我們主耶穌基督的父上帝；他在基督裏、曾給我們祝福、以賜給我們天界中各樣屬靈的福氣。

不然的話，你若以靈祝頌，外行人既不明白你說甚麼，怎能在你感謝的時候說「誠心所願」呢？
