我知道在我里面，就是在我肉体之中，没有良善，因为立志行善由得我，行出来却由不得我。

我儿，你要吃蜜，因为这是好的；吃蜂房下滴的蜜，就觉甘甜。要知道智慧对你的心也是这样，如果你得着智慧，就必有好结局，你的盼望也不会断绝。

耶和华的训词是正直的，能使人心快乐；耶和华的命令是清洁的，能使人的眼睛明亮。耶和华的话语（“耶和华的话语”原文作“耶和华的敬畏”）是洁净的，能坚立到永远；耶和华的典章是真实的，完全公义；都比金子宝贵，比大量的精金更宝贵；比蜜甘甜，比蜂房滴下来的蜜更甘甜；并且你的仆人也藉着这些得到警戒，谨守这些就得着大赏赐。

他嘴唇的命令我没有离弃，我珍藏他口中的言语在我的心胸，胜过我需用的饮食（“胜过我需用的饮食”或可参照《七十士译本》等古译本翻译为“在我的心胸”）。

他们彼此说：“在路上他对我们说话，给我们解释圣经的时候，我们的心不是火热的吗？”

耶和华使被掳的人归回锡安的时候，我们好像在作梦的人。（本节在《马索拉文本》包括细字标题）那时，我们满口喜笑，满舌欢呼；那时列国中有人说：“耶和华为他们行了大事。”耶和华为我们行了大事，我们就欢喜。

智慧必进入你的心，知识必使你欢悦。明辨的能力必护卫你，聪明必看顾你；

我一得到你的话，就把它们吃了；你的话成了我心中的欢喜快乐；耶和华万军的神啊！因为我是称为你名下的人。
