Then he said to them,“ Go your way. Eat the fat and drink sweet wine and send portions to anyone who has nothing ready, for this day is holy to our Lord. And do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

又对他们说：“你们去吃肥美的，喝甘甜的，有不能预备的就分给他，因为今日是我们主的圣日。你们不要忧愁，因靠耶和华而得的喜乐是你们的力量。”

尼希米对他们说：“你们去吃肥美的，喝甘甜的，有不能预备的就分给他，因为今日是我们主的圣日。你们不要忧愁，因靠耶和华而得的喜乐是你们的力量。”

尼希米又说：“你们去吃肥美的肉，喝甘甜的酒，并分些给一无所有的人，因为今天是我们主的圣日。不要悲伤，因为从耶和华而来的喜乐就是你们的力量。”

尼希米又对他们说：“你们应当去吃肥美的肉，喝甘甜的酒，把部分饮食分给没有能力预备的人，因为今天是我们的主的圣日；你们不要忧愁，因为靠耶和华而得的喜乐是你们的力量。”

又對他們說：「你們去吃肥美的，喝甘甜的，有不能預備的就分給他，因為今日是我們主的聖日。你們不要憂愁，因靠耶和華而得的喜樂是你們的力量。」

尼希米對他們說：「你們去吃肥美的，喝甘甜的，有不能預備的就分給他，因為今日是我們主的聖日。你們不要憂愁，因靠耶和華而得的喜樂是你們的力量。」

尼希米又對他們說：“你們應當去吃肥美的肉，喝甘甜的酒，把部分飲食分給沒有能力預備的人，因為今天是我們的主的聖日；你們不要憂愁，因為靠耶和華而得的喜樂是你們的力量。”

他又對他們說：『你們去喫肥美的，喝甘甜的，將祭肉分兒送給那不能豫備的；因為今天是我們的主的聖日；你們不要憂愁，因為靠永恆主而得的喜樂、就是你們的力量。』

又曰、往哉、食肥飲甘、無者頒之、此乃我主之聖日、毋憂戚、因耶和華而樂、是為爾之能力、

汝往哉、食其珍錯、飲其甘旨、無者頒之、此乃聖日、奉事耶和華、勿復殷憂、惟賴耶和華、眾姓臚歡。

尼希米又告之曰、而往哉、食肥飲甘、有未備者、而分予之、此乃我主之聖日、勿憂、因主而樂、實為爾之護庇、

Nehemiah said,“ Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

Nehemiah said,“ Go and enjoy some good food and sweet drinks. Send some of it to people who don’t have any. This day is holy to our Lord. So don’t be sad. The joy of the Lord makes you strong.”

And Nehemiah continued,“ Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!”

Then he said to them,“ Go and eat what is rich, drink what is sweet, and send portions to those who have nothing prepared, since today is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, because the joy of the LORD is your strength.”

Then he said to them,“ Go, eat the festival foods, drink the sweet drinks, and send portions to him who has nothing prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your refuge.”

Then he said to them,“ Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto him for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye grieved; for the joy of Jehovah is your strength.

Then he said to them,“ Go and eat what is rich, drink what is sweet, and send portions to those who have nothing prepared, since today is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, because the joy of the Lord is your stronghold.”

Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for[ this] day[ is] holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

He said to them,“ Go and eat delicacies and drink sweet drinks and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared. For this day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”

Then he said to them,“ Go your way. Eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to him for whom nothing is prepared, for today is holy to our Lord. Don’t be grieved, for the joy of Yahweh is your strength.”

The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.The Lord is the strength of his people; he is the saving refuge of his anointed.

A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.

Let Israel be glad in his Maker; let the children of Zion rejoice in their King!

Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me.But he said to me,“ My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

You will say in that day:“ I will give thanks to you, O Lord, for though you were angry with me, your anger turned away, that you might comfort me.“ Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord GOD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.”With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.

Therefore the Jews of the villages, who live in the rural towns, hold the fourteenth day of the month of Adar as a day for gladness and feasting, as a holiday, and as a day on which they send gifts of food to one another.

for in a severe test of affliction, their abundance of joy and their extreme poverty have overflowed in a wealth of generosity on their part.

as the days on which the Jews got relief from their enemies, and as the month that had been turned for them from sorrow into gladness and from mourning into a holiday; that they should make them days of feasting and gladness, days for sending gifts of food to one another and gifts to the poor.

The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad; the desert shall rejoice and blossom like the crocus;it shall blossom abundantly and rejoice with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, the majesty of Carmel and Sharon. They shall see the glory of the Lord, the majesty of our God.Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees.Say to those who have an anxious heart,“ Be strong; fear not! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God. He will come and save you.”

And you shall rejoice in all the good that the Lord your God has given to you and to your house, you, and the Levite, and the sojourner who is among you.“ When you have finished paying all the tithe of your produce in the third year, which is the year of tithing, giving it to the Levite, the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow, so that they may eat within your towns and be filled,then you shall say before the Lord your God,‘ I have removed the sacred portion out of my house, and moreover, I have given it to the Levite, the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow, according to all your commandment that you have commanded me. I have not transgressed any of your commandments, nor have I forgotten them.

I will greatly rejoice in the Lord; my soul shall exult in my God, for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation; he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself like a priest with a beautiful headdress, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

Give a portion to seven, or even to eight, for you know not what disaster may happen on earth.

And he touched my mouth and said:“ Behold, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away, and your sin atoned for.”And I heard the voice of the Lord saying,“ Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said,“ Here I am! Send me.”

Go, eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart, for God has already approved what you do.

also that everyone should eat and drink and take pleasure in all his toil— this is God’s gift to man.

There is nothing better for a person than that he should eat and drink and find enjoyment in his toil. This also, I saw, is from the hand of God,

I came to my garden, my sister, my bride, I gathered my myrrh with my spice, I ate my honeycomb with my honey, I drank my wine with my milk. Eat, friends, drink, and be drunk with love!

As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy.They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share,

“ If I have withheld anything that the poor desired, or have caused the eyes of the widow to fail,or have eaten my morsel alone, and the fatherless has not eaten of it( for from my youth the fatherless grew up with me as with a father, and from my mother’s womb I guided the widow),

“ Be glad, O children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God, for he has given the early rain for your vindication; he has poured down for you abundant rain, the early and the latter rain, as before.

Behold, what I have seen to be good and fitting is to eat and drink and find enjoyment in all the toil with which one toils under the sun the few days of his life that God has given him, for this is his lot.

though I myself have reason for confidence in the flesh also. If anyone else thinks he has reason for confidence in the flesh, I have more:

But give as alms those things that are within, and behold, everything is clean for you.

and those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them and make merry and exchange presents, because these two prophets had been a torment to those who dwell on the earth.
