我見司城哈拿尼亞、竭其忠心、寅畏上帝、非眾所能及、故使偕吾弟哈拿尼、同治耶路撒冷、

遂使我弟哈拿尼及司內城者哈拿尼雅、同治耶路撒冷、此哈拿尼雅、忠信人也、敬畏天主、非眾所能及、

I put in charge of Jerusalem my brother Hanani, along with Hananiah the commander of the citadel, because he was a man of integrity and feared God more than most people do.

I put my brother Hanani in charge of Jerusalem. Hananiah helped him. Hananiah was commander of the fort that was by the temple. Hanani was an honest man. He had more respect for God than most people do.

I gave my brother Hanani and Hananiah the governor of the castle charge over Jerusalem, for he was a more faithful and God-fearing man than many.

I gave the responsibility of governing Jerusalem to my brother Hanani, along with Hananiah, the commander of the fortress, for he was a faithful man who feared God more than most.

那時，我有一個兄弟哈拿尼，同幾個人從猶大來。我問他們那些被擄歸回、剩下殘存的猶太人和耶路撒冷的情況。

何細亞、哈拿尼雅、哈述、

我眼要看顧地上誠實可靠的人，使他們與我同住；行正直路的，他要侍候我。

亞哈召來他的管家俄巴底。俄巴底非常敬畏耶和華。

第三天，約瑟對他們說：「我是敬畏上帝的，你們這麼做就可以活。

在我以前的省長加重百姓的負擔，向百姓索取糧食和酒，以及四十舍客勒銀子，甚至他們的僕人也轄制百姓，但我因敬畏上帝不這樣做。

那時，總長和總督在治國的事務上尋找但以理的把柄，為要控告他；只是找不到任何的把柄和過失，因他忠心辦事，毫無錯誤過失。

主人說：『好，你這又善良又忠心的僕人，你在少許的事上忠心，我要派你管理許多的事，進來享受你主人的快樂吧！』

耶和華受尊崇，居高處，使公平和公義充滿錫安。他是你這世代安定的力量，豐盛的救恩、智慧和知識；敬畏耶和華是錫安的至寶。

人在最小的事上忠心，在大事上也忠心；在最小的事上不義，在大事上也不義。若是你們在不義的錢財上不忠心，誰還把那真實的錢財託付你們呢？如果你們在別人的東西上不忠心，誰還把你們自己的東西給你們呢？

烏斯地有一個人名叫約伯。這人完全、正直、敬畏上帝、遠離惡事。

所求於管家的，是要他忠心。

我派示利米雅祭司、撒督文士和利未人毗大雅作司庫管理庫房，副手是哈難；哈難是撒刻的兒子，撒刻是瑪他尼的兒子；這些人都是忠實的，他們的職務是分派他們弟兄所當得的份。

但我的僕人摩西不是這樣，他在我全家是盡忠的。

你也要從百姓中選出有才能的人，敬畏上帝、誠實可靠、恨惡不義之財的人，派他們作千夫長、百夫長、五十夫長、十夫長來管理百姓。

恐怕我一離開你，耶和華的靈就把你提到我所不知道的地方去。這樣，我去告訴亞哈，他若找不到你，就必殺我。僕人是自幼敬畏耶和華的。

以色列的上帝說，以色列的磐石向我說：『那以公義治理人，以敬畏上帝來治理的，

「那麼，誰是那忠心又精明的僕人，主人派他管理自己的家僕、按時分糧給他們的呢？

你在許多見證人面前聽見我所教導的，也要交託給那忠心而又能教導別人的人。
