I put in charge of Jerusalem my brother Hanani, along with Hananiah the commander of the citadel, because he was a man of integrity and feared God more than most people do.

I put my brother Hanani in charge of Jerusalem. Hananiah helped him. Hananiah was commander of the fort that was by the temple. Hanani was an honest man. He had more respect for God than most people do.

I gave my brother Hanani and Hananiah the governor of the castle charge over Jerusalem, for he was a more faithful and God-fearing man than many.

耶和華受尊崇，因為祂住在高天之上，祂必使錫安充滿公平和公義。祂必成為你一生的保障，使你得到豐盛的救恩、智慧和知識。敬畏耶和華是你最大的寶藏。

「一個人在小事上忠心，在大事上也會忠心；在小事上靠不住，在大事上更靠不住。如果你們不能忠心地處理今世的財富，誰會把真正的財富交託給你們呢？如果你們不能忠心地處理別人的產業，誰會把你們名下的產業交給你們呢？

烏斯有一個人名叫約伯，他純全正直，敬畏上帝，遠離罪惡。

對管家的要求是忠心。

我派示利米雅祭司、律法教師撒督及利未人毗大雅管理庫房，並派撒刻的兒子、瑪他尼的孫子哈難做他們的助手。這些人忠誠可靠，他們負責把物品分配給他們的弟兄。

以色列的上帝告訴我，以色列的磐石對我說，『以公義治理人民，敬畏上帝的君王，

「誰是那個受主人委託管理家中大小僕役、按時分糧食給他們、又忠心又精明的奴僕呢？

以前你在許多見證人面前聽過我的教導，你要把這些教導傳給忠信可靠、能夠教導他人的人。
