書中循斯言載云、異邦人中有風聲、迦施慕迦施慕即基善見二章十九節亦言、爾與猶大謀叛、故建城垣、爾欲為其王、

in which was written:“ It is reported among the nations— and Geshem says it is true— that you and the Jews are plotting to revolt, and therefore you are building the wall. Moreover, according to these reports you are about to become their king

It said,“ A report is going around among the nations. Geshem says it’s true. We hear that you and the other Jews are planning to turn against the Persian rulers. And that’s why you are building the wall. It’s also reported that you are about to become their king.

In it was written,“ It is reported among the nations, and Geshem also says it, that you and the Jews intend to rebel; that is why you are building the wall. And according to these reports you wish to become their king.

and this is what it said:“ There is a rumor among the surrounding nations, and Geshem tells me it is true, that you and the Jews are planning to rebel and that is why you are building the wall. According to his reports, you plan to be their king.

In it was written: It is reported among the nations— and Geshem agrees— that you and the Jews plan to rebel. This is the reason you are building the wall. According to these reports, you are to become their king

In it was written:“ It is reported among the nations, and Gashmu says, that you and the Jews intend to rebel; for that reason you are rebuilding the wall. And you are to be their king, according to these reports.

In it was written: It is reported among the nations, and Geshem says, that you and the Jews plan to rebel; therefore, according to these rumors, you are rebuilding the wall, that you may be their king.

wherein was written, It is reported among the nations, and Gashmu saith it, that thou and the Jews think to rebel; for which cause thou art building the wall: and thou wouldest be their king, according to these words.

Wherein[ was] written, It is reported among the heathen, and Gashmu saith[ it, that] thou and the Jews think to rebel: for which cause thou buildest the wall, that thou mayest be their king, according to these words.

Written in it were the following words:“ Among the nations it is rumored( and Geshem has substantiated this) that you and the Jews have intentions of revolting, and for this reason you are building the wall. Furthermore, according to these rumors you are going to become their king.

in which was written,“ It is reported among the nations, and Gashmu says it, that you and the Jews intend to rebel. Because of that, you are building the wall. You would be their king, according to these words.

这样，为什么不说“让我们作恶好带来善”呢？——我们正是如此受到毁谤，也有些人说过我们讲了这话——这些人被定罪倒是应该的。

彼拉多听了这话，就把耶稣带到外面，并在一个叫“铺石台”的地方坐上了审判席。“铺石台”希伯来语叫做“伽巴达”。

你们在外邦人中，要有良好的品行；这样，当他们诽谤你们是作恶之人的时候，因看到你们美好的行为，就在神临到的日子荣耀神。为了主的缘故，你们要服从人的一切制度；无论是在上的君王，

开始控告耶稣，说：“我们发现这个人在败坏我们的同胞，阻止纳税给凯撒，还自称是基督、是王。”

“当人们因我的缘故责骂你们、逼迫你们、用各种捏造出来的恶事毁谤你们的时候，你们就是蒙福的。

不过要以温柔、敬畏的心答复，并且持守无愧的良心，以致谁诋毁你们在基督里的良好品行，谁就要在你们受到诽谤的事上蒙羞。

藉着荣耀和羞辱，藉着坏名声和好名声；像是迷惑人的，却是真诚的；
