I said,“ Should a man like me flee? Who is there that, being such as I, would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in.”

我说：“像我这样的人岂要逃跑呢？像我这样的人岂能进入殿里保全生命呢？我不进去！”

我说：“像我这样的人岂会逃跑呢？像我这样的人岂能进入殿里保全生命呢？我不进去！”

我说：“像我这样的人岂会逃跑呢？像我这样的人岂能进入殿里保全生命呢？我不进去！”

但我回答说：“像我这样的人岂能逃跑？岂能进入殿里保命？我决不进去。”

我回答：“像我这样的人，怎可以逃跑呢？哪有像我这样的人，进入圣殿里去保全自己的性命呢？我决不进去！”

我說：「像我這樣的人豈要逃跑呢？像我這樣的人豈能進入殿裏保全生命呢？我不進去！」

我說：「像我這樣的人豈會逃跑呢？像我這樣的人豈能進入殿裏保全生命呢？我不進去！」

我說：「像我這樣的人豈會逃跑呢？像我這樣的人豈能進入殿裏保全生命呢？我不進去！」

但我回答說：「像我這樣的人豈能逃跑？豈能進入殿裡保命？我決不進去。」

我回答：“像我這樣的人，怎可以逃跑呢？哪有像我這樣的人，進入聖殿裡去保全自己的性命呢？我決不進去！”

但是我說：『像我這樣的人能逃跑麼？像我這樣的人能進殿堂去保全性命麼？我不進去。』

我曰、如我者、豈可逃遁乎、如我者、孰願入殿以保其生乎、我不入也、

我曰、豈有我而逃遁者乎、豈有我而入殿、倖保己命者乎、是謀我不為也。

我曰、如我者、豈可逃遁乎、如我者、豈可入殿以保生命乎、豈可入殿以保生命乎或作豈可入殿而生乎我不入、

But I said,“ Should a man like me run away? Or should someone like me go into the temple to save his life? I will not go!”

But I said,“ Should a man like me run away? Should someone like me go into the temple just to save his life? No! I won’t go!”

But I said,“ Should such a man as I run away? And what man such as I could go into the temple and live? I will not go in.”

But I replied,“ Should someone in my position run from danger? Should someone in my position enter the Temple to save his life? No, I won’t do it!”

But I said,“ Should a man like me run away? How can someone like me enter the temple and live? I will not go.”

But I said,“ Should a man like me flee? And who is there like me who would go into the temple to save his own life? I will not go in.”

And I said,“ Should such a man as I flee? And who is there such as I who would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in!”

And I said, Should such a man as I flee? and who is there, that, being such as I, would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in.

But I said,“ Should a man like me run away? How can I enter the temple and live? I will not go.”

And I said, Should such a man as I flee? and who[ is there], that,[ being] as I[ am], would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in.

But I replied,“ Should a man like me run away? Would someone like me flee to the temple in order to save his life? I will not go!”

The wicked flee when no one pursues; but the righteous are as bold as a lion.

Yes, and if I am poured out on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice, and rejoice with you all.

In Yahweh, I take refuge. How can you say to my soul,“ Flee as a bird to your mountain”?For, behold, the wicked bend their bows. They set their arrows on the strings, that they may shoot in darkness at the upright in heart.

His heart is established. He will not be afraid in the end when he sees his adversaries.

For he will never be shaken. The righteous will be remembered forever.

Then Paul answered,“ What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”

On that same day, some Pharisees came, saying to him,“ Get out of here, and go away, for Herod wants to kill you.”He said to them,“ Go and tell that fox,‘ Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I complete my mission.Nevertheless I must go on my way today and tomorrow and the next day, for it can’t be that a prophet would perish outside of Jerusalem.’

But these things don’t count; nor do I hold my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to fully testify to the Good News of the grace of God.

Behold, you have instructed many, you have strengthened the weak hands.Your words have supported him who was falling, You have made firm the feeble knees.But now it has come to you, and you faint. It touches you, and you are troubled.Isn’t your piety your confidence? Isn’t the integrity of your ways your hope?

I sent messengers to them, saying,“ I am doing a great work, so that I can’t come down. Why should the work cease, while I leave it, and come down to you?”

for he put his life in his hand, and struck the Philistine, and Yahweh worked a great victory for all Israel. You saw it, and rejoiced. Why then will you sin against innocent blood, to kill David without a cause?”

Dead flies cause the oil of the perfumer to produce an evil odor; so does a little folly outweigh wisdom and honor.

For they all would have made us afraid, saying,“ Their hands will be weakened from the work, that it not be done.” But now, strengthen my hands.

Why do you discourage the heart of the children of Israel from going over into the land which Yahweh has given them?Your fathers did so when I sent them from Kadesh Barnea to see the land.For when they went up to the valley of Eshcol, and saw the land, they discouraged the heart of the children of Israel, that they should not go into the land which Yahweh had given them.

because for the work of Christ he came near to death, risking his life to supply that which was lacking in your service toward me.

By faith, he left Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.

Saul was consenting to his death. A great persecution arose against the assembly which was in Jerusalem in that day. They were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except for the apostles.

He will consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body. It will be as when a standard bearer faints.
