我曰、如我者、豈可逃遁乎、如我者、豈可入殿以保生命乎、豈可入殿以保生命乎或作豈可入殿而生乎我不入、

我说：“像我这样的人岂要逃跑呢？像我这样的人岂能进入殿里保全生命呢？我不进去！”

我说：“像我这样的人岂会逃跑呢？像我这样的人岂能进入殿里保全生命呢？我不进去！”

我说：“像我这样的人岂会逃跑呢？像我这样的人岂能进入殿里保全生命呢？我不进去！”

但我回答说：“像我这样的人岂能逃跑？岂能进入殿里保命？我决不进去。”

我回答：“像我这样的人，怎可以逃跑呢？哪有像我这样的人，进入圣殿里去保全自己的性命呢？我决不进去！”

我說：「像我這樣的人豈要逃跑呢？像我這樣的人豈能進入殿裏保全生命呢？我不進去！」

我說：「像我這樣的人豈會逃跑呢？像我這樣的人豈能進入殿裏保全生命呢？我不進去！」

我說：「像我這樣的人豈會逃跑呢？像我這樣的人豈能進入殿裏保全生命呢？我不進去！」

但我回答說：「像我這樣的人豈能逃跑？豈能進入殿裡保命？我決不進去。」

我回答：“像我這樣的人，怎可以逃跑呢？哪有像我這樣的人，進入聖殿裡去保全自己的性命呢？我決不進去！”

但是我說：『像我這樣的人能逃跑麼？像我這樣的人能進殿堂去保全性命麼？我不進去。』

我曰、如我者、豈可逃遁乎、如我者、孰願入殿以保其生乎、我不入也、

我曰、豈有我而逃遁者乎、豈有我而入殿、倖保己命者乎、是謀我不為也。

But I said,“ Should a man like me run away? Or should someone like me go into the temple to save his life? I will not go!”

But I said,“ Should a man like me run away? Should someone like me go into the temple just to save his life? No! I won’t go!”

But I said,“ Should such a man as I run away? And what man such as I could go into the temple and live? I will not go in.”

But I replied,“ Should someone in my position run from danger? Should someone in my position enter the Temple to save his life? No, I won’t do it!”

But I said,“ Should a man like me run away? How can someone like me enter the temple and live? I will not go.”

But I said,“ Should a man like me flee? And who is there like me who would go into the temple to save his own life? I will not go in.”

And I said,“ Should such a man as I flee? And who is there such as I who would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in!”

And I said, Should such a man as I flee? and who is there, that, being such as I, would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in.

But I said,“ Should a man like me run away? How can I enter the temple and live? I will not go.”

And I said, Should such a man as I flee? and who[ is there], that,[ being] as I[ am], would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in.

But I replied,“ Should a man like me run away? Would someone like me flee to the temple in order to save his life? I will not go!”

I said,“ Should a man like me flee? Who is there that, being such as I, would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in.”

惡人雖無人追襲、亦遁逃、惟善人毅然如獅、

我以爾之信為奉獻之祭祀、即我舍命流血、以我血為灌奠、我亦樂之、且與爾同樂、

我是倚賴主者、爾曹如何向我云、爾當遁逃爾山、如鳥雀之飛去、惡人張弓運矢於弦、暗射心直之人、

心中安定、無所恐懼、必得目睹仇敵遭報、

永不至於傾跌、善人之名、萬世長留、

保羅曰、爾何為哭而摧我心、我敢為主耶穌之名、不第受縛、即死於耶路撒冷亦可、

當日法利賽數人就之曰、爾出而離此、因希律欲殺爾、耶穌曰、爾往告彼狐狸云、今日明日、我逐魔施醫、至第三日、我事畢矣、雖然、今日明日後日、我當行矣、因先知必不亡於耶路撒冷外、

然我不以此為意、亦不以我生命為貴、惟思歡然前趨、以盡我程途、及我於主耶穌所受之職、以證天主恩寵之福音、

昔爾訓眾、怯弱者爾堅之、躓蹶者爾以言使之得立、膝軟者爾扶之、今禍患臨爾而膽怯、災難及爾而驚惶、爾敬畏天主、豈無所恃乎、既有善行、豈無可望乎、

我遣使對曰、我今經營大工、不能往、往原文作下下同焉可止息工作、往見爾乎、

昔冒死不顧、殺非利士人、主藉之使以色列人獲大勝、王見此甚喜、今何欲無故殺大衛而獲殺無辜之罪乎、

和香者所製之香膏、或作膏商之香膏如其中有死蠅、死蠅或作毒蠅必臭且壞、人因智慧尊貴得美名、倘稍有愚妄亦若是、

彼眾皆欲使我懼、意謂、我必心灰、止息工作、致不得成、主歟、惟求鼓勵我、鼓勵我原文作堅我手○

何使以色列人喪膽、不欲往主所賜之之地、昔爾先人所行亦若是、昔我在迦叠巴尼亞、遣之窺探迦南地、彼等至以實各谷、窺地而返、遂使以色列人喪膽、不欲往主所賜之地、

彼為基督之事、瀕死不顧己命、欲補爾事我之不足、

彼有信、離伊及不畏王怒、彼有恆心、如見不可見者、

司提反被害、掃羅亦悅之、時在耶路撒冷教會、大遭窘逐、使徒而外、皆散於猶太、及撒瑪利亞諸地、

其軍旅雖如榮茂之樹林園囿、主必使之身心消滅、勢如病者漸衰、
