所以，我親愛的弟兄姊妹，你們務要堅定不移，總要竭力做主的工作，因為你們知道自己在主裡面的辛勤付出不會白費。

因為沒有人像他那樣跟我一同真正關心你們的事。別人都只顧自己的事，並不關心耶穌基督的事。

你們知道，我們沒有花言巧語奉承人，也沒有心存貪念，上帝可以為我們作證。我們不求得到你們或其他任何人的讚揚。

我們行善不可灰心氣餒，因為到時候必有收穫。

我從未貪圖別人的金銀和衣服，你們都知道，我親手做工養活自己和同工。我凡事以身作則，教導你們勤奮工作，幫助軟弱的人，並牢記主耶穌的話，『施比受更有福。』」

凡是恆心行善、尋求榮耀、尊貴和永恆福分的人，祂要把永生賜給他們；

種子落在沃土裡則是指人聽了道，用誠實良善的心堅忍持守，至終結出果實。

摩西非常憤怒，就對耶和華說：「求你不要接納他們的祭物。我沒有取過他們一頭驢，也沒有害過他們任何人。」

算了！我沒有拖累過你們，但居然有人說我狡猾，用詭計騙你們。請問，在我派到你們那裡的人當中，我藉著誰佔過你們的便宜呢？我懇求提多去你們那裡，並派弟兄與他同去。難道提多佔過你們的便宜嗎？我們行事為人豈不是心靈相通，步調一致嗎？
