因为你们立志和行事都是上帝在你们心中工作，为要成就祂美好的旨意。

“我算什么，我的人民算什么，怎么配向你奉献？因为万物都从你而来，我们只是把从你那里得来的献给你。

而且，我因为爱慕我上帝的殿，除了预备以上物品外，还把自己珍藏的金银献上，用来建造我上帝的殿。

感谢上帝！祂感动了提多的心，使他像我一样热诚地关怀你们。这固然是他听了我们的劝告，但也是他自己非常热诚，自愿去你们那里。

我的上帝啊，我知道你洞察人心，喜爱正直的人。我怀着正直的心甘愿献上这一切，我也看见你这里的子民甘心乐意地将财物献给你。我们祖先亚伯拉罕、以撒、以色列的上帝耶和华啊！求你使你的子民常存这样的心志，使他们的心忠于你。

你跟仇敌作战的时候，你的百姓必甘心跟从，他们衣着圣洁，如清晨的甘露。

在各样善事上成全你们，好使你们遵行祂的旨意，并借着主耶稣在你们心中动工，使你们做祂喜悦的事！愿荣耀归给上帝，直到永永远远。阿们！

以禄月二十五日城墙竣工，前后用了五十二天。

希西迦和民众因上帝为他们所做的而欢喜快乐，因为这事情很快成就了。
