Do not cover up their guilt or blot out their sins from your sight, for they have thrown insults in the face of the builders.

Don’t hide your eyes from their guilt. Don’t forgive their sins. They have said bad things about the builders.”

耶和华啊，他们要杀我的那一切计谋，你都知道。不要赦免他们的罪孽，也不要从你面前涂抹他们的罪恶，要叫他们在你面前跌倒；愿你发怒的时候罚办他们。

“惟有我为自己的缘故涂抹你的过犯；我也不记念你的罪恶。

神啊，求你按你的慈爱怜恤我！按你丰盛的慈悲涂抹我的过犯！

愿你在他们的罪上加罪，不容他们在你面前称义。愿他们从生命册上被涂抹，不得记录在义人之中。

我涂抹了你的过犯，像厚云消散；我涂抹了你的罪恶，如薄云灭没。你当归向我，因我救赎了你。”

铜匠亚历山大多多地害我；主必照他所行的报应他。

求你掩面不看我的罪，涂抹我一切的罪孽。

以利亚敬、舍伯那、约亚对拉伯沙基说：“求你用亚兰言语和仆人说话，因为我们懂得；不要用犹大言语和我们说话，达到城上百姓的耳中。”拉伯沙基说：“我主差遣我来，岂是单对你和你的主说这些话吗？不也是对这些坐在城上、要与你们一同吃自己粪喝自己尿的人说吗？”
