我上帝歟、我儕為人蔑視、願爾垂聽、俾其所謗、歸於己首、為俘虜於異邦、

我禱曰、我為人藐視、望上帝鑒察、願彼之凌辱人者、反以自受、見虜於異邦、遭其虐遇。

我儕被人藐視、求我天主聽察、彼訕謗我儕、願其受報、見擄於異邦、受凌虐、

Hear us, our God, for we are despised. Turn their insults back on their own heads. Give them over as plunder in a land of captivity.

I prayed to God. I said,“ Our God, please listen to our prayer. Some people hate us. They’re saying bad things about us. So let others say bad things about them. Let them be carried off like stolen goods. Let them be taken to another country as prisoners.

Hear, O our God, for we are despised. Turn back their taunt on their own heads and give them up to be plundered in a land where they are captives.

Then I prayed,“ Hear us, our God, for we are being mocked. May their scoffing fall back on their own heads, and may they themselves become captives in a foreign land!

Listen, our God, for we are despised. Make their insults return on their own heads and let them be taken as plunder to a land of captivity.

Hear, O our God, how we are an object of contempt! Return their taunting on their own heads, and turn them into plunder in a land of captivity.

耶和華啊，求你憐憫我們，憐憫我們！因為我們受盡了藐視。我們受盡了安逸人的譏誚和驕傲人的藐視。

主啊，求你將我們鄰邦所加給你的羞辱七倍歸到他們身上。

大衛對站在旁邊的人說：「若有人殺這非利士人，除掉以色列人的羞辱，他會怎樣呢？這未受割禮的非利士人是誰，竟敢向永生上帝的軍隊罵陣！」

他譏誚那愛譏誚的人；但賜恩給謙卑的人。

然而以法蓮大大惹動主怒，他所流的血必歸到他身上。主必使他的羞辱歸還給他。
