who were building the wall. Those who carried materials did their work with one hand and held a weapon in the other,

The people continued to build the wall. The people who carried supplies did their work with one hand. They held a weapon in the other hand.

原來，為了有功效的工作，一個大門向我敞開了，不過反對的人也很多。

做為基督耶穌的好士兵，你要與我同受苦難。

如果別人能從你們那裡分享這權利，我們不是更能分享嗎？然而，我們並沒有用過這權利，反而凡事包容，免得給基督的福音帶來阻礙。

那美好的仗，我已經打過了；該跑的路程，我已經跑盡了；當守的信仰，我已經持守了。

你們要警醒，在信仰上當站立得穩，要做大丈夫，要剛強；

在任何事上都不被反對你們的人嚇倒——這對他們是滅亡的證明，而對你們卻是得救的證明，並且這是出於神。

在真理的話語中，在神的大能中，藉著右手左手的公義兵器，

你們要配上神的全副武裝，使你們得以站立，對付魔鬼的騙局，因為我們不是與血肉之體搏鬥，而是與那些統治的、掌權的、管轄這黑暗世界的，以及天上邪惡的屬靈勢力搏鬥。為此，要拿起神的全副武裝，好使你們在邪惡的日子能夠抵擋，並且在完成一切以後，還站立得住。所以，你們要站立得住：用真理束上腰，穿上公義的護胸甲；把所預備好的和平福音，穿在腳上；在任何情況下，要拿起信仰的盾牌；你們藉著它就能消滅那惡者一切燃燒的飛箭；並且要接受救恩的頭盔和聖靈的寶劍——就是神的話語。你們要以各樣的禱告和祈求，藉著聖靈時刻祈禱；而且為此警醒，以極大的忍耐，為所有聖徒祈求，也為我祈求，好使我在開口的時候被賜予話語，能坦然無懼地讓人明白福音的奧祕——為此，我成了帶鎖鏈的特使。請為我祈求，使我能照著應該說的，放膽傳道。

因此你當知道，你要明白：從發出命令恢復、重建耶路撒冷，直到受膏之君的時候，有七個『七』和六十二個『七』；那時耶路撒冷連同她的廣場和溝渠都必被恢復、重建，但那將是一個困苦的時期。
