又賜詔書，通知管理王園林的亞薩，叫他給我木材，作為殿的營樓之門、城牆，和我自己要住的房屋的橫梁。」王就允准我，因為我上帝施恩的手幫助我。

又赐诏书，给看守王的园林的亚萨，吩咐他给我木材，建造圣殿的营楼大门的横梁，以及建造城墙和我要入住的房屋。”因为我的神施恩的手帮助我，王就赐给我这一切。

又賜詔書，給看守王的園林的亞薩，吩咐他給我木材，建造聖殿的營樓大門的橫梁，以及建造城牆和我要入住的房屋。”因為我的神施恩的手幫助我，王就賜給我這一切。

賜詔書通知看守王園林的亞薩，叫他給我木料、作附屬於殿的營樓之門的橫梁、作城牆、和我自己要進住的房屋的用處。』王就賜給我所求的，因為我的上帝至善的手幫助了我。

並請降詔於虞人亞薩、賜我材木、以建附殿之樓門及城垣、與我所居之室、蒙我上帝之佑、王允所祈、

亦請王降詔於虞人亞薩、使彼賜我材木、可建城門、築垣墉、與我所居之室、蒙上帝祐、王允所祈。

亦求降詔於司王山林之臣亞薩、命之賜我材木、用以作圍殿城之門之柝梁、建城垣、與我所欲居之室、我蒙我天主之祐、王允我所求、

And may I have a letter to Asaph, keeper of the royal park, so he will give me timber to make beams for the gates of the citadel by the temple and for the city wall and for the residence I will occupy?” And because the gracious hand of my God was on me, the king granted my requests.

May I also have a letter to Asaph? He takes care of the royal park. I want him to give me some logs so I can make beams out of them. I want to use them for the gates of the fort that is by the temple. Some of the logs will also be used in the city wall. And I’ll need some for the house I’m going to live in.” God was kind to me and helped me. So the king gave me what I asked for.

and a letter to Asaph, the keeper of the king’s forest, that he may give me timber to make beams for the gates of the fortress of the temple, and for the wall of the city, and for the house that I shall occupy.” And the king granted me what I asked, for the good hand of my God was upon me.

And please give me a letter addressed to Asaph, the manager of the king’s forest, instructing him to give me timber. I will need it to make beams for the gates of the Temple fortress, for the city walls, and for a house for myself.” And the king granted these requests, because the gracious hand of God was on me.

And let me have a letter written to Asaph, keeper of the king’s forest, so that he will give me timber to rebuild the gates of the temple’s fortress, the city wall, and the home where I will live.” The king granted my requests, for the gracious hand of my God was on me.

and a letter to Asaph the keeper of the king’s forest, so that he will give me timber to make beams for the gates of the citadel which is by the temple, for the wall of the city, and for the house to which I will go.” And the king granted them to me because the good hand of my God was on me.

And the king granted me, according to the good hand of my God upon me.

And a letter unto Asaph the keeper of the king’s forest, that he may give me timber to make beams for the gates of the palace which[ appertained] to the house, and for the wall of the city, and for the house that I shall enter into. And the king granted me, according to the good hand of my God upon me.

and a letter for Asaph the keeper of the king’s nature preserve, so that he will give me timber for beams for the gates of the fortress adjacent to the temple and for the city wall and for the house to which I go.” So the king granted me these requests, for the good hand of my God was on me.

這以斯拉從巴比倫上來，他是一個文士，精通耶和華－以色列上帝所賜摩西的律法。王允准他一切所求的，因為耶和華－他上帝的手幫助他。

我吩咐我的兄弟哈拿尼和城堡的官長哈拿尼雅管理耶路撒冷，因為哈拿尼雅是一個忠信的人，敬畏上帝過於眾人。

你們看見，心裏就喜樂，你們的骨頭必如草生長；耶和華的手在他僕人身上彰顯，他卻要向他的仇敵發怒。」

但上帝的眼目看顧猶太人的長老，以致沒有人叫他們停工，直到奏文上告大流士，得着他對這事的回諭。

上帝使但以理在太監長眼前蒙恩，得憐憫。

感謝上帝，把我對你們的熱忱同樣放在提多心裏。

然而，我蒙上帝的幫助，直到今日還站立得穩，向尊貴的和卑微的作見證。我所講的，並不外乎眾先知和摩西所說將來必成的事，

那人說：「你的名字不要再叫雅各，要叫以色列，因為你與上帝和人較力，都得勝了。」

王的心在耶和華手中像河水，他能使它隨意流轉。

救他脫離一切苦難，又使他在埃及王法老面前蒙恩，又有智慧。法老派他作埃及國的宰相兼管法老的全家。

正月初一，他從巴比倫起程，五月初一就到了耶路撒冷，因為他上帝施恩的手幫助他。

那時，以利亞實大祭司和他的弟兄眾祭司起來建立羊門，將門分別為聖，安立門扇，直到哈米亞樓。他們又將它分別為聖，直到哈楠業樓。在他旁邊建造的是耶利哥人。在他旁邊建造的是音利的兒子撒刻。哈西拿的子孫建立魚門，架橫梁、安門扇，裝閂和鎖。在他們旁邊修造的是哈哥斯的孫子，烏利亞的兒子米利末。在他們旁邊修造的是米示薩別的孫子，比利迦的兒子米書蘭。在他們旁邊修造的是巴拿的兒子撒督。在他們旁邊修造的是提哥亞人；但是他們的貴族不用肩扛他們主人的工作。巴西亞的兒子耶何耶大與比所玳的兒子米書蘭修造古門，架橫梁，安門扇，裝閂和鎖。在他們旁邊修造的是基遍人米拉提、米倫人雅頓、基遍人，和河西總督所管的米斯巴人。在他旁邊修造的是哈海雅的兒子烏薛銀匠。在他旁邊修造的是做香料的哈拿尼雅。他們修復耶路撒冷，直到寬牆。在他們旁邊修造的是管理耶路撒冷城區的一半、戶珥的兒子利法雅。在他們旁邊的是哈路抹的兒子耶大雅在自己房屋的對面修造。在他旁邊修造的是哈沙尼的兒子哈突。哈琳的兒子瑪基雅和巴哈‧摩押的兒子哈述修造下一段和爐樓。在他旁邊修造的是管理耶路撒冷城區的另一半、哈羅黑的兒子沙龍和他的女兒們。哈嫩和撒挪亞的居民修造谷門；他們立門，安門扇，裝閂和鎖，又修造城牆一千肘，直到糞廠門。管理伯‧哈基琳區、利甲的兒子瑪基雅修造糞廠門；他立門，安門扇，裝閂和鎖。管理米斯巴區、各‧荷西的兒子沙崙修造泉門；他立門，蓋門頂，安門扇，裝閂和鎖，又修造靠近王的花園西羅亞池的城牆，直到那從大衛城下來的臺階。接續他修造的是管理伯‧夙區的一半、押卜的兒子尼希米，直到大衛墳地的對面，又到人造池，到達勇士的房屋。接續他修造的是利未人巴尼的兒子利宏。在他旁邊的是管理基伊拉區一半的哈沙比雅為本區修造。接續他修造的是他們弟兄中管理基伊拉區的另一半、希拿達的兒子賓內。在他旁邊的是管理米斯巴、耶書亞的兒子以謝珥修造武庫的上坡對面、城牆轉彎處的那一段。接續他的是薩拜的兒子巴錄竭力修造下一段，從轉彎處，直到以利亞實大祭司的府門。接續他的是哈哥斯的孫子，烏利亞的兒子米利末修造下一段，從以利亞實的府門，直到以利亞實府的盡頭。接續他修造的是住平原的祭司。接續他的是便雅憫與哈述在自己房屋的對面修造。接續他的是亞難尼的孫子，瑪西雅的兒子亞撒利雅在自己房屋的旁邊修造。接續他的是希拿達的兒子賓內修造下一段，從亞撒利雅的房屋直到轉彎處，又到城角。烏賽的兒子巴拉修造轉彎處的對面和靠近護衛院、王宮上層凸出來的城樓。接續他的是巴錄的兒子毗大雅，（殿役住在俄斐勒，直到朝東水門的對面和凸出來的城樓。）接續他的是提哥亞人又修造一段，對着那凸出來的大城樓，直到俄斐勒的城牆。從馬門往上，祭司各在自己房屋的對面修造。接續他的是音麥的兒子撒督在自己房屋的對面修造。接續他修造的是東門的守衛、示迦尼的兒子示瑪雅。接續他的是示利米雅的兒子哈拿尼雅和薩拉的第六個兒子哈嫩修造下一段。接續他的是比利迦的兒子米書蘭在自己房屋的對面修造。接續他的是瑪基雅銀匠修造，直到殿役和商人的房屋，對着集合門，直到角樓。銀匠與商人在角樓和羊門之間修造。

他們歡歡喜喜地守除酵節七日，因為耶和華使他們歡喜。耶和華又使亞述王的心轉向他們，堅固他們的手，去做上帝－以色列上帝殿的工。

以後，我對他們說：「我們所遭的難，耶路撒冷怎樣荒涼，城門被火焚燒，你們都看見了。來吧，讓我們重建耶路撒冷的城牆，免得再受凌辱！」我告訴他們我上帝施恩的手怎樣幫助我，以及王向我所說的話。他們就說：「我們起來建造吧！」於是他們使自己的手堅強，做這美好的工作。

以斯拉說：「耶和華－我們列祖的上帝是應當稱頌的！因他使王起這心願，使耶路撒冷耶和華的殿得榮耀，他又在王和謀士，以及王所有大能的軍官面前施恩於我。我因耶和華－我上帝的手的幫助，得以堅強，從以色列中召集領袖，與我一同上來。」
