我更以上帝眷祐、國王降詔之事、告之、彼曰、願建邑垣。於是眾志已堅、為此善事。

I also told them about the gracious hand of my God on me and what the king had said to me. They replied,“ Let us start rebuilding.” So they began this good work.

I also told them how my gracious God was helping me. And I told them what the king had said to me. They replied,“ Let’s start rebuilding.” So they began that good work.

And I told them of the hand of my God that had been upon me for good, and also of the words that the king had spoken to me. And they said,“ Let us rise up and build.” So they strengthened their hands for the good work.

Then I told them about how the gracious hand of God had been on me, and about my conversation with the king. They replied at once,“ Yes, let’s rebuild the wall!” So they began the good work.

And I told them how the hand of my God had been favorable to me and also about the king’s words which he had spoken to me. Then they said,“ Let’s arise and build.” So they put their hands to the good work.

And I told them of the hand of my God which had been good upon me, and also of the king’s words that he had spoken to me. So they said,“ Let us rise up and build.” Then they set their hands to this good work.

And I told them of the hand of my God which was good upon me, as also of the king’s words that he had spoken unto me. And they said, Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for the good work.

I told them how the gracious hand of my God had been on me, and what the king had said to me. They said,“ Let’s start rebuilding,” and they were encouraged to do this good work.

Then I told them of the hand of my God which was good upon me; as also the king’s words that he had spoken unto me. And they said, Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for[ this] good[ work].

Then I related to them how the good hand of my God was on me and what the king had said to me. Then they replied,“ Let’s begin rebuilding right away!” So they readied themselves for this good project.

I told them of the hand of my God which was good on me, as also of the king’s words that he had spoken to me. They said,“ Let’s rise up and build.” So they strengthened their hands for the good work.

今而後、兄弟賴主大力當剛健、

宜強乃志、為我民及為我上帝之眾邑戰、願耶和華任意以行。

大闢所轄之傑士、與以色列族眾、鞏固其國、立之為王、循耶和華所諭以色列族之命、

耶和華之使哈基、遂以耶和華之命、傳之民云、耶和華曰、我必眷佑爾眾、於是耶和華感設鐵子猶大方伯所羅把伯、約撒答子、祭司長約書亞、及諸遺民之心、咸至萬有之主上帝耶和華之殿、大興工作、
