I rebuked them and called curses down on them. I beat some of the men and pulled out their hair. I made them take an oath in God’s name and said:“ You are not to give your daughters in marriage to their sons, nor are you to take their daughters in marriage for your sons or for yourselves.

So I gave them a warning. I cursed them. I beat up some of them. I pulled their hair out. I had them make a promise in God’s name. I said,“ You must promise not to give your daughters to be married to their sons. You must promise not to let their daughters marry your sons. And you must not marry their daughters either.

And I confronted them and cursed them and beat some of them and pulled out their hair. And I made them take an oath in the name of God, saying,“ You shall not give your daughters to their sons, or take their daughters for your sons or for yourselves.

So I confronted them and called down curses on them. I beat some of them and pulled out their hair. I made them swear in the name of God that they would not let their children intermarry with the pagan people of the land.

So I entered a complaint with them. I called down a curse on them, and I struck some of the men and pulled out their hair. I had them swear by God saying,“ You will not marry off your daughters to their sons, and you will not take any of their daughters as wives for your sons or for yourselves!

I contended with them, and cursed them, and struck certain of them, and plucked off their hair, and made them swear by God,“ You shall not give your daughters to their sons, nor take their daughters for your sons, or for yourselves.

我責猶大世職曰、爾奚犯安息日、多行不義。

以士喇使祭司諸長、利未人、以色列眾發誓、必從此言、眾乃發誓。

從同宗世職、發誓立盟、必遵從上帝僕摩西所傳之律例、守我上帝耶和華誡命、禮儀法度、不以女嫁異邦人、不以異邦人之女娶為媳。

我聞此、責諸伯曰、上帝之殿何不恪守、遂招徠利未人、使復厥職。

爾與彼勿相嫁娶、爾女不得適其子、爾子不得娶其女、

維彼誕妄兮、則擯棄之、寅畏耶和華兮、則恭敬止、願既許兮、雖己有損、不易其志兮。

人杖我背、我不敢動、拔我鬚、我不敢避、吐我面、我不敢掩。

有教法師謂耶穌曰、先生、此言亦辱我矣、曰、教法師、其有禍乎、蓋爾以難負之任、使人荷之、而己則一指不按、

恐爾取其女為媳、其女狥欲從其上帝、以惑爾子亦狥欲以從。

凡不遵上帝律例、及我敕命者、當服厥刑、或殛、或竄、或籍其家、或囚於獄。

惡人宜受扑責、刑官使伏於前、依罪受罰。扑惟四十、毋踰其數、恐受扑過多、則爾藐視同儕。

相約一心一意、宗事列祖之上帝耶和華、凡不崇以色列族之上帝耶和華、無論尊卑男女、死無赦。遂大聲號呼吹角、於耶和華前發誓。猶大族眾發誓、一心崇耶和華、蒙其施恩、錫綏四方、忻喜不勝。

我則拂去衣上塵、曰、凡不踐其言、上帝必去之、有如此衣、離家室、失產業、使之匱乏。會眾曰、正所願也、遂頌讚耶和華。嗣後民咸從斯言。

當畏爾上帝耶和華而奉事之、指其名而發誓。

利未人必厲聲告以色列族曰、雕刻鎔鑄之像、人工所作、耶和華所惡、有製而立於私地者、當服咒詛、民必群應曰、固心所願。又曰、藐視父母者、當服咒詛、民必群應曰、固心所願。又曰、遷徙鄰里之界址者、當服咒詛、民必群應曰、固心所願。又曰、使瞽誤途者、當服咒詛、民必群應曰、固心所願。又曰、賓旅孤寡、訟時而反其正者、當服咒詛、民必群應曰、固心所願。又曰、烝父繼室、辱及於父者、當服咒詛、民必群應曰、固心所願。又曰、淫於獸者、當服咒詛、民必群應曰、固心所願。又曰、亂同父異母、異父同母之姊妹者、當服咒詛、民必群應曰、固心所願。又曰、烝外母者、當服咒詛、民必群應曰、固心所願。又曰、陰擊同儕者、當服咒詛、民必群應曰、固心所願。又曰、受賄以害無辜者、當服咒詛、民必群應曰、固心所願。又曰、不恆遵律法所載而行之者、當服咒詛、民必群應曰、固心所願。

違法者譽惡、守法者敵惡。
