I rebuked them and called curses down on them. I beat some of the men and pulled out their hair. I made them take an oath in God’s name and said:“ You are not to give your daughters in marriage to their sons, nor are you to take their daughters in marriage for your sons or for yourselves.

So I gave them a warning. I cursed them. I beat up some of them. I pulled their hair out. I had them make a promise in God’s name. I said,“ You must promise not to give your daughters to be married to their sons. You must promise not to let their daughters marry your sons. And you must not marry their daughters either.

And I confronted them and cursed them and beat some of them and pulled out their hair. And I made them take an oath in the name of God, saying,“ You shall not give your daughters to their sons, or take their daughters for your sons or for yourselves.

So I confronted them and called down curses on them. I beat some of them and pulled out their hair. I made them swear in the name of God that they would not let their children intermarry with the pagan people of the land.

So I entered a complaint with them. I called down a curse on them, and I struck some of the men and pulled out their hair. I had them swear by God saying,“ You will not marry off your daughters to their sons, and you will not take any of their daughters as wives for your sons or for yourselves!

I contended with them, and cursed them, and struck certain of them, and plucked off their hair, and made them swear by God,“ You shall not give your daughters to their sons, nor take their daughters for your sons, or for yourselves.

我就斥責猶大的貴族，對他們說：「你們怎麼會做這惡事干犯安息日呢！

以斯拉就起來，叫祭司長和利未人，以及以色列眾人起誓，要照這話去做；他們就起了誓。

都隨從他們貴族的弟兄發咒起誓，要遵行神藉他僕人摩西所賜的律法，謹守遵行耶和華－我們主的一切誡命、典章、律例。我們不把我們的女兒嫁給這地的居民，也不為我們的兒子娶他們的女兒。

我就斥責官長說：「你們為何不顧神的殿呢？」於是我召集利未人，使他們在自己的崗位上供職。

不可與他們結親；不可將你的女兒嫁給他的兒子，也不可叫你的兒子娶他的女兒。

他眼中藐視匪類，卻尊重那敬畏耶和華的人。他發了誓，雖然自己吃虧也不更改。

人打我的背，我任他打；人拔我兩頰的鬍鬚，我由他拔；人侮辱我，向我吐唾沫，我並不掩面。

律法師中有一個回答耶穌，說：「老師，你這樣說也把我們侮辱了。」耶穌說：「你們律法師也有禍了！因為你們把難挑的擔子放在別人身上，自己卻不肯動一個指頭去減輕這些擔子。

你為你兒子娶他們的女兒為妻，他們的女兒因着隨從她們的神明行淫，就引誘你的兒子也隨從她們的神明行淫。

凡不遵行你神律法和王命令的人，當速速定他的罪，或處死，或充軍，或抄家，或囚禁。」

惡人若該受責打，審判官就要叫他當着面，伏在地上，按他的罪照數責打。只能打四十下，不可加多；多過這數目就是在你眼中作賤你的弟兄了。

他們立約，要盡心盡性尋求耶和華－他們列祖的神。凡不尋求耶和華－以色列神的，無論大小、男女，必被處死。他們就大聲歡呼，吹號吹角，向耶和華起誓。猶大眾人為所起的誓歡喜，因他們盡心起誓，盡意尋求耶和華，耶和華就被他們尋見，且賜他們四境平安。

我也抖着胸前的衣袋，說：「凡不實行這話的，願神照樣抖他離開他的家和他勞碌得來的，直到抖空了。」全會眾都說：「阿們！」又讚美耶和華。百姓就照着這話去做。

你要敬畏耶和華－你的神，事奉他，奉他的名起誓。

利未人要大聲對以色列眾人說：「『凡製造耶和華所憎惡的偶像，無論是雕刻的，是鑄造的，就是工匠用手造的，或暗中設置的，這人必受詛咒！』眾百姓要回應說：『阿們！』「『輕慢父母的，必受詛咒！』眾百姓要說：『阿們！』「『挪移鄰舍地界的，必受詛咒！』眾百姓要說：『阿們！』「『引領瞎子走錯路的，必受詛咒！』眾百姓要說：『阿們！』「『對寄居的、孤兒和寡婦屈枉正直的，必受詛咒！』眾百姓要說：『阿們！』「『與繼母同寢的，必受詛咒！因為他掀開父親衣服的下邊。』眾百姓要說：『阿們！』「『與獸交合的，必受詛咒！』眾百姓要說：『阿們！』「『與同父異母，或同母異父的姊妹同寢的，必受詛咒！』眾百姓要說：『阿們！』「『與岳母同寢的，必受詛咒！』眾百姓要說：『阿們！』「『暗中擊殺鄰舍的，必受詛咒！』眾百姓要說：『阿們！』「『受賄賂擊殺人而流無辜之血的，必受詛咒！』眾百姓要說：『阿們！』「『不堅守遵行這律法之話的，必受詛咒！』眾百姓要說：『阿們！』」

離棄律法的，誇獎惡人；遵守律法的，卻與惡人相爭。
