I rebuked them and called curses down on them. I beat some of the men and pulled out their hair. I made them take an oath in God’s name and said:“ You are not to give your daughters in marriage to their sons, nor are you to take their daughters in marriage for your sons or for yourselves.

So I gave them a warning. I cursed them. I beat up some of them. I pulled their hair out. I had them make a promise in God’s name. I said,“ You must promise not to give your daughters to be married to their sons. You must promise not to let their daughters marry your sons. And you must not marry their daughters either.

And I confronted them and cursed them and beat some of them and pulled out their hair. And I made them take an oath in the name of God, saying,“ You shall not give your daughters to their sons, or take their daughters for your sons or for yourselves.

So I confronted them and called down curses on them. I beat some of them and pulled out their hair. I made them swear in the name of God that they would not let their children intermarry with the pagan people of the land.

I rebuked them, cursed them, beat some of their men, and pulled out their hair. I forced them to take an oath before God and said,“ You must not give your daughters in marriage to their sons or take their daughters as wives for your sons or yourselves!

So I quarreled with them and cursed them, and struck some of them and pulled out their hair, and made them swear by God,“ You shall not give your daughters to their sons, nor take any of their daughters for your sons or for yourselves.

So I contended with them and cursed them, struck some of them and pulled out their hair, and made them swear by God, saying,“ You shall not give your daughters as wives to their sons, nor take their daughters for your sons or yourselves.

And I contended with them, and cursed them, and smote certain of them, and plucked off their hair, and made them swear by God, saying, Ye shall not give your daughters unto their sons, nor take their daughters for your sons, or for yourselves.

And I contended with them, and cursed them, and smote certain of them, and plucked off their hair, and made them swear by God,[ saying], Ye shall not give your daughters unto their sons, nor take their daughters unto your sons, or for yourselves.

So I entered a complaint with them. I called down a curse on them, and I struck some of the men and pulled out their hair. I had them swear by God saying,“ You will not marry off your daughters to their sons, and you will not take any of their daughters as wives for your sons or for yourselves!

I contended with them, and cursed them, and struck certain of them, and plucked off their hair, and made them swear by God,“ You shall not give your daughters to their sons, nor take their daughters for your sons, or for yourselves.

我斥責猶大的貴族說：「你們為何做這惡事干犯安息日？

於是，以斯拉起來，要祭司長、利未人和所有以色列人起誓照這話去做，他們就都起了誓。

都跟隨他們的貴族同胞起誓要謹遵上帝藉祂僕人摩西頒佈的律法，遵守我們的主耶和華的一切誡命、典章和律例。我們不將女兒嫁給當地的人，也不為兒子娶當地的女子。

我斥責眾首領說：「為何忽略上帝的殿？」然後，我招聚利未人，叫他們各歸各職。

不可與他們通婚，不可讓你們的兒女與他們的兒女通婚，

他鄙視惡人，尊重那些敬畏耶和華的人。他起了誓，即使吃虧也不背誓。

人打我的背，我任他打；人拔我的鬍子，我任他拔；人侮辱我，朝我吐唾沬，我也不掩面。

一位律法教師對耶穌說：「老師，你這話把我們也侮辱了！」耶穌回答說：「你們這些律法教師也有禍了！你們把沉重難負的擔子放在別人肩上，自己卻連一根指頭也不肯動。

給兒子娶他們的女兒為妻，以致她們與自己的神明苟合時誘使你的兒子犯同樣的罪。

凡不遵行你上帝的律法和王法的，要對他嚴加治罪，或處死，或發配，或抄家，或監禁。」

如果有罪的一方被判受鞭打，審判官要命令他當場伏在地上，按罪行輕重受刑。最多可以鞭打他四十下。如果超過四十下，你們就是在公開羞辱自己的同胞。

他們又與他們祖先的上帝耶和華立約，要全心全意地尋求祂。凡不尋求以色列的上帝耶和華的，無論男女老幼，一律處死。他們高聲向耶和華起誓，並吹響號角。猶大人都為所起的誓而歡喜快樂，因他們誠心起誓、誠意尋求耶和華，耶和華就讓他們尋見，並賜他們四境平安。

我抖著衣服說：「如果你們不守誓言，願上帝也這樣抖掉你們的家園和你們勞碌得來的，使你們一無所有。」全體會眾都說：「阿們！」他們讚美耶和華，民眾都遵照誓言去行。

要敬畏你們的上帝耶和華，事奉祂，憑祂的名起誓。

利未人要對所有以色列人高聲說，『凡雕刻或鑄造耶和華所憎惡的神像，並偷偷供奉的必受咒詛！』全體民眾要回答說，『阿們！』『凡不尊敬父母的必受咒詛！』全體民眾要回答說，『阿們！』『凡挪移鄰居界石的必受咒詛！』全體民眾要回答說，『阿們！』『凡故意帶領盲人走錯路的必受咒詛！』全體民眾要回答說，『阿們！』『不公正地對待寄居者和孤兒寡婦的必受咒詛！』全體民眾要回答說，『阿們！』『凡與父親的妻妾亂倫，使父親蒙羞的必受咒詛！』全體民眾要回答說，『阿們！』『凡與獸交合的必受咒詛！』全體民眾要回答說，『阿們！』『凡與同父或同母姊妹亂倫的必受咒詛！』全體民眾要回答說，『阿們！』『凡與岳母亂倫的必受咒詛！』全體民眾要回答說，『阿們！』『凡暗殺鄰居的必受咒詛！』全體民眾要回答說，『阿們！』『凡因收受賄賂而殺害無辜的必受咒詛！』全體民眾要回答說，『阿們！』『凡不遵行這律法的必受咒詛！』全體民眾要回答說，『阿們！』

背棄律法的稱讚惡人，遵守律法的抗拒惡人。
