I commanded the Levites that they should purify themselves, and that they should come and keep the gates, to sanctify the Sabbath day. Remember to me, my God, this also, and spare me according to the greatness of your loving kindness.

我使利未人、潔其身體、防範邑門、恪守安息日、以為聖日、我既行此、望上帝垂念、恆懷矜憫、宥我罪愆。

我命利未人自潔己身、來守城門、守安息日為聖日、求我天主因此事垂念我、循主之恩憐憫我、○

Then I commanded the Levites to purify themselves and go and guard the gates in order to keep the Sabbath day holy. Remember me for this also, my God, and show mercy to me according to your great love.

I commanded the Levites to make themselves pure. Then I told them to go and guard the gates. I wanted the Sabbath day to be kept holy. You are my God. Remember me because of the good things I’ve done. Be kind to me according to your great love.

Then I commanded the Levites that they should purify themselves and come and guard the gates, to keep the Sabbath day holy. Remember this also in my favor, O my God, and spare me according to the greatness of your steadfast love.

Then I commanded the Levites to purify themselves and to guard the gates in order to preserve the holiness of the Sabbath. Remember this good deed also, O my God! Have compassion on me according to your great and unfailing love.

Then I instructed the Levites to purify themselves and guard the city gates in order to keep the Sabbath day holy. Remember me for this also, my God, and look on me with compassion according to the abundance of your faithful love.

And I ordered the Levites that they were to purify themselves and come as gatekeepers to sanctify the Sabbath day. For this also remember me, my God, and have compassion on me according to the greatness of Your mercy.

And I commanded the Levites that they should cleanse themselves, and that they should go and guard the gates, to sanctify the Sabbath day. Remember me, O my God, concerning this also, and spare me according to the greatness of Your mercy!

And I commanded the Levites that they should purify themselves, and that they should come and keep the gates, to sanctify the sabbath day. Remember unto me, O my God, this also, and spare me according to the greatness of thy lovingkindness.

Then I instructed the Levites to purify themselves and guard the gates in order to keep the Sabbath day holy. Remember me for this also, my God, and look on me with compassion in keeping with Your abundant, faithful love.

And I commanded the Levites that they should cleanse themselves, and[ that] they should come[ and] keep the gates, to sanctify the sabbath day. Remember me, O my God,[ concerning] this also, and spare me according to the greatness of thy mercy.

Then I directed the Levites to purify themselves and come and guard the gates in order to keep the Sabbath day holy. For this please remember me, O my God, and have pity on me in keeping with your great love.

The priests and the Levites purified themselves; and they purified the people, and the gates, and the wall.

Remember me, my God, concerning this, and don’t wipe out my good deeds that I have done for the house of my God, and for its observances.

and for the wood offering, at times appointed, and for the first fruits. Remember me, my God, for good.

Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praises to Yahweh with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer. They sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshiped.

Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts. Let him return to Yahweh, and he will have mercy on him, to our God, for he will freely pardon.

and said,“ Remember now, Yahweh, I beg you, how I have walked before you in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in your sight.” Then Hezekiah wept bitterly.

Hear my prayer, Yahweh. Listen to my petitions. In your faithfulness and righteousness, relieve me.Don’t enter into judgment with your servant, for in your sight no man living is righteous.

If you, Yah, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?But there is forgiveness with you, therefore you are feared.

Israel, hope in Yahweh, for there is loving kindness with Yahweh. Abundant redemption is with him.

Yahweh, remember David and all his affliction,how he swore to Yahweh, and vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob:“ Surely I will not come into the structure of my house, nor go up into my bed;I will not give sleep to my eyes, or slumber to my eyelids;until I find out a place for Yahweh, a dwelling for the Mighty One of Jacob.”

Yahweh, remember your tender mercies and your loving kindness, for they are from old times.Don’t remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions. Remember me according to your loving kindness, for your goodness’ sake, Yahweh.

Kings shall be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers. They will bow down to you with their faces to the earth, and lick the dust of your feet. Then you will know that I am Yahweh; and those who wait for me shall not be disappointed.”

Have mercy on me, God, according to your loving kindness. According to the multitude of your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions.

The king commanded Hilkiah the high priest, and the priests of the second order, and the keepers of the threshold, to bring out of Yahweh’s temple all the vessels that were made for Baal, for the Asherah, and for all the army of the sky, and he burned them outside of Jerusalem in the fields of the Kidron, and carried their ashes to Bethel.

But as for me, in the abundance of your loving kindness I will come into your house. I will bow toward your holy temple in reverence of you.

These searched for their genealogical records, but couldn’t find them. Therefore they were deemed disqualified and removed from the priesthood.The governor told that they should not eat of the most holy things until a priest stood up to minister with Urim and Thummim.

Remember me, my God, for good, all that I have done for this people.

Jeshua became the father of Joiakim, and Joiakim became the father of Eliashib, and Eliashib became the father of Joiada,

I have fought the good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept the faith.From now on, the crown of righteousness is stored up for me, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give to me on that day; and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved his appearing.

Then the priests killed them, and they made a sin offering with their blood on the altar, to make atonement for all Israel; for the king commanded that the burnt offering and the sin offering should be made for all Israel.

Hezekiah commanded them to offer the burnt offering on the altar. When the burnt offering began, Yahweh’s song also began, along with the trumpets and David king of Israel’s instruments.

For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience, that in holiness and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God we behaved ourselves in the world, and more abundantly toward you.

and said to them,“ You are the heads of the fathers’ households of the Levites. Sanctify yourselves, both you and your brothers, that you may bring the ark of Yahweh, the God of Israel, up to the place that I have prepared for it.For because you didn’t carry it at first, Yahweh our God broke out in anger against us, because we didn’t seek him according to the ordinance.”So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves to bring up the ark of Yahweh, the God of Israel.

He brought in the priests and the Levites, and gathered them together into the wide place on the east,and said to them,“ Listen to me, you Levites! Now sanctify yourselves, and sanctify Yahweh, the God of your fathers’ house, and carry the filthiness out of the holy place.

“ Observe the Sabbath day, to keep it holy, as Yahweh your God commanded you.
