And I commanded the Levites that they should cleanse themselves, and[ that] they should come[ and] keep the gates, to sanctify the sabbath day. Remember me, O my God,[ concerning] this also, and spare me according to the greatness of thy mercy.

Then I commanded the Levites to purify themselves and go and guard the gates in order to keep the Sabbath day holy. Remember me for this also, my God, and show mercy to me according to your great love.

I commanded the Levites to make themselves pure. Then I told them to go and guard the gates. I wanted the Sabbath day to be kept holy. You are my God. Remember me because of the good things I’ve done. Be kind to me according to your great love.

Then I commanded the Levites that they should purify themselves and come and guard the gates, to keep the Sabbath day holy. Remember this also in my favor, O my God, and spare me according to the greatness of your steadfast love.

And the priests and the Levites purified themselves, and purified the people, and the gates, and the wall.

Remember me, O my God, concerning this, and wipe not out my good deeds that I have done for the house of my God, and for the offices thereof.

And for the wood offering, at times appointed, and for the firstfruits. Remember me, O my God, for good.

Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praise unto the LORD with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer. And they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshipped.

Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

And said, Remember now, O LORD, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done[ that which is] good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.

Hear my prayer, O LORD, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me,[ and] in thy righteousness.And enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight shall no man living be justified.

If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?But[ there is] forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.

Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD[ there is] mercy, and with him[ is] plenteous redemption.

A Song of degrees. LORD, remember David,[ and] all his afflictions:How he sware unto the LORD,[ and] vowed unto the mighty[ God] of Jacob;Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;I will not give sleep to mine eyes,[ or] slumber to mine eyelids,Until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty[ God] of Jacob.

Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they[ have been] ever of old.Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness’ sake, O LORD.

And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee with[ their] face toward the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I[ am] the LORD: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me.

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.

And the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest, and the priests of the second order, and the keepers of the door, to bring forth out of the temple of the LORD all the vessels that were made for Baal, and for the grove, and for all the host of heaven: and he burned them without Jerusalem in the fields of Kidron, and carried the ashes of them unto Bethel.

But as for me, I will come[ into] thy house in the multitude of thy mercy:[ and] in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.

These sought their register[ among] those that were reckoned by genealogy, but it was not found: therefore were they, as polluted, put from the priesthood.And the Tirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there stood[ up] a priest with Urim and Thummim.

Think upon me, my God, for good,[ according] to all that I have done for this people.

And Jeshua begat Joiakim, Joiakim also begat Eliashib, and Eliashib begat Joiada,

I have fought a good fight, I have finished[ my] course, I have kept the faith:Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

And the priests killed them, and they made reconciliation with their blood upon the altar, to make an atonement for all Israel: for the king commanded[ that] the burnt offering and the sin offering[ should be made] for all Israel.

And Hezekiah commanded to offer the burnt offering upon the altar. And when the burnt offering began, the song of the LORD began[ also] with the trumpets, and with the instruments[ ordained] by David king of Israel.

For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.

And said unto them, Ye[ are] the chief of the fathers of the Levites: sanctify yourselves,[ both] ye and your brethren, that ye may bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel unto[ the place that] I have prepared for it.For because ye[ did it] not at the first, the LORD our God made a breach upon us, for that we sought him not after the due order.So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves to bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel.

And he brought in the priests and the Levites, and gathered them together into the east street,And said unto them, Hear me, ye Levites, sanctify now yourselves, and sanctify the house of the LORD God of your fathers, and carry forth the filthiness out of the holy[ place].

Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee.
