Then I commanded the Levites that they should purify themselves and come and guard the gates, to keep the Sabbath day holy. Remember this also in my favor, O my God, and spare me according to the greatness of your steadfast love.

我命利未人自潔己身、來守城門、守安息日為聖日、求我天主因此事垂念我、循主之恩憐憫我、○

Then I commanded the Levites to purify themselves and go and guard the gates in order to keep the Sabbath day holy. Remember me for this also, my God, and show mercy to me according to your great love.

I commanded the Levites to make themselves pure. Then I told them to go and guard the gates. I wanted the Sabbath day to be kept holy. You are my God. Remember me because of the good things I’ve done. Be kind to me according to your great love.

Then I commanded the Levites to purify themselves and to guard the gates in order to preserve the holiness of the Sabbath. Remember this good deed also, O my God! Have compassion on me according to your great and unfailing love.

Then I instructed the Levites to purify themselves and guard the city gates in order to keep the Sabbath day holy. Remember me for this also, my God, and look on me with compassion according to the abundance of your faithful love.

And I ordered the Levites that they were to purify themselves and come as gatekeepers to sanctify the Sabbath day. For this also remember me, my God, and have compassion on me according to the greatness of Your mercy.

And I commanded the Levites that they should cleanse themselves, and that they should go and guard the gates, to sanctify the Sabbath day. Remember me, O my God, concerning this also, and spare me according to the greatness of Your mercy!

Then I directed the Levites to purify themselves and come and guard the gates in order to keep the Sabbath day holy. For this please remember me, O my God, and have pity on me in keeping with your great love.

I commanded the Levites that they should purify themselves, and that they should come and keep the gates, to sanctify the Sabbath day. Remember to me, my God, this also, and spare me according to the greatness of your loving kindness.

And the priests and the Levites purified themselves, and they purified the people and the gates and the wall.

Remember me, O my God, concerning this, and do not wipe out my good deeds that I have done for the house of my God and for his service.

and I provided for the wood offering at appointed times, and for the firstfruits. Remember me, O my God, for good.

And Hezekiah the king and the officials commanded the Levites to sing praises to the Lord with the words of David and of Asaph the seer. And they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed down and worshiped.

let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

and said,“ Please, O Lord, remember how I have walked before you in faithfulness and with a whole heart, and have done what is good in your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

Hear my prayer, O Lord; give ear to my pleas for mercy! In your faithfulness answer me, in your righteousness!Enter not into judgment with your servant, for no one living is righteous before you.

If you, O Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?But with you there is forgiveness, that you may be feared.

O Israel, hope in the Lord! For with the Lord there is steadfast love, and with him is plentiful redemption.

Remember, O Lord, in David’s favor, all the hardships he endured,how he swore to the Lord and vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob,“ I will not enter my house or get into my bed,I will not give sleep to my eyes or slumber to my eyelids,until I find a place for the Lord, a dwelling place for the Mighty One of Jacob.”

Remember your mercy, O Lord, and your steadfast love, for they have been from of old.Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to your steadfast love remember me, for the sake of your goodness, O Lord!

Kings shall be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers. With their faces to the ground they shall bow down to you, and lick the dust of your feet. Then you will know that I am the Lord; those who wait for me shall not be put to shame.”

Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions.

And the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest and the priests of the second order and the keepers of the threshold to bring out of the temple of the Lord all the vessels made for Baal, for Asherah, and for all the host of heaven. He burned them outside Jerusalem in the fields of the Kidron and carried their ashes to Bethel.

But I, through the abundance of your steadfast love, will enter your house. I will bow down toward your holy temple in the fear of you.

These sought their registration among those enrolled in the genealogies, but it was not found there, so they were excluded from the priesthood as unclean.The governor told them that they were not to partake of the most holy food until a priest with Urim and Thummim should arise.

Remember for my good, O my God, all that I have done for this people.

And Jeshua was the father of Joiakim, Joiakim the father of Eliashib, Eliashib the father of Joiada,

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing.

and the priests slaughtered them and made a sin offering with their blood on the altar, to make atonement for all Israel. For the king commanded that the burnt offering and the sin offering should be made for all Israel.

Then Hezekiah commanded that the burnt offering be offered on the altar. And when the burnt offering began, the song to the Lord began also, and the trumpets, accompanied by the instruments of David king of Israel.

For our boast is this, the testimony of our conscience, that we behaved in the world with simplicity and godly sincerity, not by earthly wisdom but by the grace of God, and supremely so toward you.

and said to them,“ You are the heads of the fathers’ houses of the Levites. Consecrate yourselves, you and your brothers, so that you may bring up the ark of the Lord, the God of Israel, to the place that I have prepared for it.Because you did not carry it the first time, the Lord our God broke out against us, because we did not seek him according to the rule.”So the priests and the Levites consecrated themselves to bring up the ark of the Lord, the God of Israel.

He brought in the priests and the Levites and assembled them in the square on the eastand said to them,“ Hear me, Levites! Now consecrate yourselves, and consecrate the house of the Lord, the God of your fathers, and carry out the filth from the Holy Place.

“‘ Observe the Sabbath day, to keep it holy, as the Lord your God commanded you.
