Then I instructed the Levites to purify themselves and guard the city gates in order to keep the Sabbath day holy. Remember me for this also, my God, and look on me with compassion according to the abundance of your faithful love.

Then I commanded the Levites to purify themselves and go and guard the gates in order to keep the Sabbath day holy. Remember me for this also, my God, and show mercy to me according to your great love.

I commanded the Levites to make themselves pure. Then I told them to go and guard the gates. I wanted the Sabbath day to be kept holy. You are my God. Remember me because of the good things I’ve done. Be kind to me according to your great love.

Then I commanded the Levites that they should purify themselves and come and guard the gates, to keep the Sabbath day holy. Remember this also in my favor, O my God, and spare me according to the greatness of your steadfast love.

Then I commanded the Levites to purify themselves and to guard the gates in order to preserve the holiness of the Sabbath. Remember this good deed also, O my God! Have compassion on me according to your great and unfailing love.

And I ordered the Levites that they were to purify themselves and come as gatekeepers to sanctify the Sabbath day. For this also remember me, my God, and have compassion on me according to the greatness of Your mercy.

And I commanded the Levites that they should cleanse themselves, and that they should go and guard the gates, to sanctify the Sabbath day. Remember me, O my God, concerning this also, and spare me according to the greatness of Your mercy!

Then I directed the Levites to purify themselves and come and guard the gates in order to keep the Sabbath day holy. For this please remember me, O my God, and have pity on me in keeping with your great love.

I commanded the Levites that they should purify themselves, and that they should come and keep the gates, to sanctify the Sabbath day. Remember to me, my God, this also, and spare me according to the greatness of your loving kindness.

After the priests and Levites had purified themselves, they purified the people, the city gates, and the wall.

Remember me for this, my God, and don’t erase the deeds of faithful love I have done for the house of my God and for its services.

I also arranged for the donation of wood at the appointed times and for the firstfruits. Remember me, my God, with favor.

Then King Hezekiah and the officials told the Levites to sing praise to the LORD in the words of David and of the seer Asaph. So they sang praises with rejoicing and knelt low and worshiped.

Let the wicked one abandon his way and the sinful one his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, so he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will freely forgive.

He said,“ Please, LORD, remember how I have walked before you faithfully and wholeheartedly, and have done what pleases you.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

LORD, hear my prayer. In your faithfulness listen to my plea, and in your righteousness answer me.Do not bring your servant into judgment, for no one alive is righteous in your sight.

LORD, if you kept an account of iniquities, Lord, who could stand?But with you there is forgiveness, so that you may be revered.

Israel, put your hope in the LORD. For there is faithful love with the LORD, and with him is redemption in abundance.

LORD, remember David and all the hardships he endured,and how he swore an oath to the LORD, making a vow to the Mighty One of Jacob:“ I will not enter my house or get into my bed,I will not allow my eyes to sleep or my eyelids to slumberuntil I find a place for the LORD, a dwelling for the Mighty One of Jacob.”

Remember, LORD, your compassion and your faithful love, for they have existed from antiquity.Do not remember the sins of my youth or my acts of rebellion; in keeping with your faithful love, remember me because of your goodness, LORD.

Kings will be your guardians and their queens your nursing mothers. They will bow down to you with their faces to the ground and lick the dust at your feet. Then you will know that I am the LORD; those who put their hope in me will not be put to shame.

Be gracious to me, God, according to your faithful love; according to your abundant compassion, blot out my rebellion.

Then the king commanded the high priest Hilkiah and the priests of the second rank and the doorkeepers to bring out of the LORD’s sanctuary all the articles made for Baal, Asherah, and all the stars in the sky. He burned them outside Jerusalem in the fields of the Kidron and carried their ashes to Bethel.

But I enter your house by the abundance of your faithful love; I bow down toward your holy temple in reverential awe of you.

These searched for their entries in the genealogical records, but they could not be found, so they were disqualified from the priesthood.The governor ordered them not to eat the most holy things until there was a priest who could consult the Urim and Thummim.

Remember me favorably, my God, for all that I have done for this people.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.There is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on that day, and not only to me, but to all those who have loved his appearing.

The priests slaughtered the goats and put their blood on the altar for a sin offering, to make atonement for all Israel, for the king said that the burnt offering and sin offering were for all Israel.

Then Hezekiah ordered that the burnt offering be offered on the altar. When the burnt offerings began, the song of the LORD and the trumpets began, accompanied by the instruments of King David of Israel.

Indeed, this is our boast: The testimony of our conscience is that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially toward you, with godly sincerity and purity, not by human wisdom but by God’s grace.

He said to them,“ You are the heads of the Levite families. You and your relatives must consecrate yourselves so that you may bring the ark of the LORD God of Israel to the place I have prepared for it.For the LORD our God burst out in anger against us because you Levites were not with us the first time, for we didn’t inquire of him about the proper procedures.”So the priests and the Levites consecrated themselves to bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel.

Then he brought in the priests and Levites and gathered them in the eastern public square.He said to them,“ Hear me, Levites. Consecrate yourselves now and consecrate the temple of the LORD, the God of your ancestors. Remove everything impure from the holy place.

Be careful to remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy as the LORD your God has commanded you.
