故當守安息日、以為聖日、凡凟之者、殺無赦、操作於是日者、必絕於民中、六日間、宜操作、至七日、則安息、於耶和華為聖日、安息日操作者、殺無赦、以色列人歷世必守安息日以休息、此為永約、於我及以色列族間、永世為徵、蓋六日間、我耶和華造天地、七日休息、而暢適焉、○

我告之曰、待日上升、乃可啟耶路撒冷邑門、閽人尚立守時、即令閉門上楗、又使居民、依其班次、各於室前防守、
