从前你们列祖岂不是这样行，以致我们神使一切灾祸临到我们和这城吗？现在你们还犯安息日，使忿怒越发临到以色列！”

你们祖先岂不是这样做，以致我们的上帝使一切灾祸临到我们和这城吗？你们竟干犯安息日，使愤怒越发临到以色列！”

你们祖先岂不是这样做，以致我们的神使一切灾祸临到我们和这城吗？你们竟干犯安息日，使愤怒越发临到以色列！”

你们的祖先难道不是犯了这样的罪，以致我们的上帝使一切灾祸临到我们和这城吗？如今你们干犯安息日，使上帝的愤怒更多地临到以色列。”

从前你们的列祖不是这样行，以致我们的神使这一切灾祸临到我们和这城吗？现在你们亵渎安息日，使神的忿怒越发临到以色列。”

你們祖先豈不是這樣做，以致我們的上帝使一切災禍臨到我們和這城嗎？你們竟干犯安息日，使憤怒越發臨到以色列！」

你們的祖先難道不是犯了這樣的罪，以致我們的上帝使一切災禍臨到我們和這城嗎？如今你們干犯安息日，使上帝的憤怒更多地臨到以色列。」

從前你們列祖豈不是這樣行，以致我們的上帝使這一切災禍臨到我們和這城麼？現在你們還瀆犯着安息日、使上帝的烈怒越發臨到以色列啊！』

昔爾列祖、豈非行是、致我上帝降諸災於我儕、及斯邑乎、爾今又犯安息、使怒及於以色列、尤有甚焉、

昔我列祖行是、上帝降災、罰及我身、殲滅斯邑、爾又犯之、貽禍於以色列族、尤有甚焉。

昔列祖亦如斯行、我天主以此諸災、降於我儕及此城、今爾犯安息日、使以色列人干主怒尤甚、

Didn’t your ancestors do the same things, so that our God brought all this calamity on us and on this city? Now you are stirring up more wrath against Israel by desecrating the Sabbath.”

Your people of long ago did the very same things. That’s why our God has brought all this trouble on us. That’s why he’s making this city suffer so much. Now you are making him even angrier against Israel. You are misusing the Sabbath day.”

Did not your fathers act in this way, and did not our God bring all this disaster on us and on this city? Now you are bringing more wrath on Israel by profaning the Sabbath.”

“ Wasn’t it just this sort of thing that your ancestors did that caused our God to bring all this trouble upon us and our city? Now you are bringing even more wrath upon Israel by permitting the Sabbath to be desecrated in this way!”

Didn’t your ancestors do the same, so that our God brought all this disaster on us and on this city? And now you are rekindling his anger against Israel by profaning the Sabbath!”

Did your fathers not do the same, so that our God brought on us and on this city all this trouble? Yet you are adding to the wrath against Israel by profaning the Sabbath.”

Did not your fathers do thus, and did not our God bring all this disaster on us and on this city? Yet you bring added wrath on Israel by profaning the Sabbath.”

Did not your fathers thus, and did not our God bring all this evil upon us, and upon this city? yet ye bring more wrath upon Israel by profaning the sabbath.

Didn’t your ancestors do the same, so that our God brought all this disaster on us and on this city? And now you are rekindling His anger against Israel by profaning the Sabbath!”

Did not your fathers thus, and did not our God bring all this evil upon us, and upon this city? yet ye bring more wrath upon Israel by profaning the sabbath.

Isn’t this the way your ancestors acted, causing our God to bring on them and on this city all this misfortune? And now you are causing even more wrath on Israel, profaning the Sabbath like this!”

Didn’t your fathers do this, and didn’t our God bring all this evil on us, and on this city? Yet you bring more wrath on Israel by profaning the Sabbath.”

耶和華這樣說：為了自己的性命，你們要謹慎，不可在安息日挑擔子，不可挑進耶路撒冷的城門。也不可在安息日從你們家裡挑擔子出來；甚麼工都不可作，卻要守安息日為聖日，正如我吩咐你們列祖的。你們的列祖卻沒有聽從，毫不在意，反而硬著頸項不肯聽，不受管教。’”

雖然因著我們許多的惡行和重大的罪過，這一切就臨到我們身上，但我們的神啊，你懲罰我們實在輕於我們的罪孽所應得的，還給我們留下這些逃脫的人。我們怎可以再違背你的誡命，與這些行可憎事的民族通婚呢？如果我們這樣行，你豈不向我們發怒，消滅我們，以致沒有一個剩餘，或是逃脫的人嗎？耶和華以色列的神啊，你是公義的！我們現今才可以留下，成為逃脫的人。看哪，我們在你面前是有罪過的，因此沒有人能在你面前站立得住。’”

經過這些以後，如果你們還不聽從我，我就要因你們的罪加重七倍管教你們。

他們必剝去你的衣服，奪去你華麗的飾物。

從前拜毗珥的罪孽，我們還以為是小事嗎？雖然有災疫臨到耶和華的會眾，直到今日我們還沒有洗淨這罪呢。你們今日竟轉離不跟從耶和華嗎？今日你們既然背叛耶和華，明日他必向以色列全體會眾發怒了。

你們列祖的惡行、猶大列王的惡行、他們妻子的惡行、你們自己的惡行和你們妻子的惡行，就是在猶大地和耶路撒冷街上所行的，你們忘記了嗎？

她沒有離棄在埃及時的淫亂；那時她年幼，人與她同睡，撫弄她處女的乳房，把他們的情慾發洩在她身上。

我就必發烈怒，與你們作對；我要按著你們的罪，再加重七倍管教你們。

不要效法你們的列祖那樣，從前的先知呼喚他們：萬軍之耶和華這樣說，你們要回轉，離開你們的惡道和惡行。他們卻不聽從，也不理會我（這是耶和華的宣告）。你們的列祖在哪裡呢？那些先知能永遠活著嗎？然而我吩咐我的僕人眾先知的話與條例，不是已報應在你們的列祖身上嗎？所以他們就回轉，說：萬軍之耶和華定意按著我們所作所行的對付我們，他已經這樣行了。’”

現在，你們這些罪人的族類，也來接替你們的先祖，增添耶和華對以色列的烈怒！

但如果你們不聽從我，不守安息日為聖日，仍在安息日挑擔子，進入耶路撒冷的城門；這樣，我就必在耶路撒冷的各城門點起火來，燒毀耶路撒冷的堡壘，沒有人能夠撲滅。”

耶和華再不能容忍你們邪惡的行為，和你們所行可憎的事；故此，你們的土地荒涼，成了令人驚駭、被人咒詛的對象，沒有人居住，好像今天一樣。
